So..."Double Standards" strikes again.

You know it, because anything that normally wouldn't be complained about otherwise has to be a special case with Supes, apparently.

How would Kal or Jor-El have known about the Phantom drive on Zod's ship?

His computer father would have told him. Stupid Mouth.

I deleted my copy of MoS yesterday, so i can't check right now, but didn't Zod have to integrate a the phantom drive into his ship?

How would Jor-El have known that? Kal didn't know until after he had been on Zod's ship.

also, call me mouth again, and I'm gonna report you for sexual harassment. ahuh

re download it right now 😛 but yeah Zod did do that,

zod's ship didn't have the phantom drive until after krypton exploded, I think.. jor-el wouldn't have known, computer or otherwise.. the video making fun of plot-holes has plot-holes.. lulz..

yeah. You'd think a person who's being hyper critical would pay more attention to details.

You know that's a comedy channel, right? It's for the lulz.

the entire purpose of the series is to point out problems in movies, and show how it could have been resolved better than it was actually handled. It's humorous, but it's supposed to point out legitimate plot holes, mistakes and stupid moments.

Someone should send Chris Nolan a link.

Oh that's right, he doesn't care what people on the internet think. 🙄

Just because you can't work things out yourself.

Please enlighten me Kaz...what am I supposed to work out?

Superman 2 had enought collateral damage (Supes knocking Nom through an entire office building comes to mind). And he killed Zod for no reason really, after crushing every bone in his hand.

MOS Supes was pretty merciful in comparison.

Not good enough

Didn't Zod say he used the Phantom drive just like Jor did for Kal's ship? It would make sense that Jor El would deduce how Zod was able to make his ship functional seeing as how he had knowledge of how to do it himself.

But wouldn't the Phantom Drive in Zod's ship also have to be activated in order for the plan to work?

It would have been. That's how they were able to move the ship in the first place. Zod said he and his people were just floating in space basically waiting to starve until they used the drive to move the ship. Jor would reasonably be aware of this being the most likely, possibly only, way Zod traveled to Earth

i agree

still though people are stuck in a temporal causality loop circa 1989 where Batman is concerned and more so folks are stuck in a temporal causality loop circa 1978 where Superman is concerned... bit silly really since how people can't understand that Nolan's Bat trilogy is a great interpretation and its the same with Man of Steel, thats a great interpretation of how someone believes Superman to be
