Scott remained a pretty heavy X-men until the last 10 years and even then his relationship with Emma was warranted due to her death. He had to move on.

* i just forgot the blog where i read that the Scott-Jean-Logan love triangle never really existed because it was only a one-sided love on Logan's part... Jean practically ignores the sh!t out of Logan eventhough Logan openly cares for her... and i think the love triangle materializes when Claremont decided to "shake things up"...

16 year old Jean was pretty pure, that's true.

Yeah, though to be honest, Jean, for the most part, wasn't nearly as bad as the movies made her out to be.

I like Scott more than Logan. At first I didn't really care about him because I thought he was boring. So when i was a kid it was all about dem claws and "lets go bub" Eventually outgrew that, but I wouldn't mind Logan having a piece of dat ass. Just to see what might be/could have been instead of just having Logan pin for her like a lost puppy. But I suppose that little love-triangle sells or something.

Logan trying to get everybody to vote to kill Scott was simply shocking.

If I was Kitty I would've asked him to hand over the Headmasters position of the school.

Poor form Logan.

* it starts off of Jean having a weird nightmare --- present Scott & Magneto burst in her room exclaiming they finally found her, and tells her to go with them because "they" are going to kill her... all of sudden, a naked hairy midget dude charges and stabs her in the neck --- wow, what a dream!

* after that, Kitty Pryde came in and calms her down... Jeans asked her if the others (O4) are doing okay, and Kitty replied yes but with a weird look, and the last panel showing O5 Scott frowning...

* O5 Scott is frowning --- who wouldn't be? he's definitely out-of-place in the Jean Grey School... everyone's been giving him a cold shoulder, and the girl he loves (or least, at this point, have a crush on) told her to leave her alone... so maybe as a homage to the X-men movie (and as a revenge from it), O5 Scott "borrowed" Logan's motorcycle and wore his leather jacket, but Logan heard him (heightened senses) and followed him...

* while everyone's cold on O5 Scott, everyone's warm on Jean, overflowing concern and stuff... Jean panics when she was bombarded by voices in her head (she's hearing thoughts of many people in her surroundings)... Kitty effectively helped her, and confessed that the adult Jean taught her that... then Storm also came in and offered help, and said that since she managed to convince the O4 to stay in the present time, means they listen to her, so she's the leader, and not O5 Scott... nice logic...

* meanwhile, O5 Scott went inside a convenience store and marvelled at how the water are now in bottles... lol... soon, the cashier recognized him and says he looked a lot like the fugitive Cyclops printed in a magazine... well, the conversation was abruptly diverted when O5 Scott said that he'll take the magazine and will pay for it... he reached down in the jacket's pocket and was surprised Logan has fine lump of money... at this point, Logan caught up with him...

* Logan pulled O5 Scott's ears and told him to go back to the school, but O5 Scott laments on Logan that everyone's giving him a cold shoulder eventhough he didn't do anything... then O5 Scott shoved Logan, but hurt himself and Logan boastfully said that it's his adamantium skeleton, uhm, unbreakable bones... by which, O5 Scott feints to go back and suddenly lashed out a quick optic beam at Logan which sent him flying and down on the ground, and hurried away still using Logan's bike... O5 Scott's blast is maybe not that refined yet (or another writer's idiocy) since Logan immediately got back up and follows him...

* O5 Warren seemed worried that O5 Scott left (he's flying and sees O5 Scott in a motorcycle, with Logan in a van following him), and he's also worried he still doesn't get to see his present-day counterpart... well, this is a lucky day for him because he came across his current self and believed every word he said... because good ol' Warren does not lie... lol...

* finally, someone managed to catch the scene (where O5 Scott blasts Logan) on video and uploaded it on YouTube, and tipped it off to Mystique... and wow, the videoclip had O5 Scott on close-up and Mystique noticed this "Scott" is young... she became curious and wants to see this personally...

* now, how come that in the video, O5 Scott is wearing his visor? because when he did that, he was wearing his eyeglasses...

* the next issue's cover shows us Mystique at O5 Scott's back, diabolically hugging him... hmmm... will this be O5 Scott's first...??? lol... can't wait... slow paced episode but i enjoyed it... my only disappointment is, it lacked an update on current Scott and his team, i want to see what will happen in Scott and Emma's relationship, the gap between Scott and Magneto, and the two new members... 18 pages is still too short...

Anyways, good issue.. Angels meeting with Angel turned out the way I expected. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

But what I'm truly waiting for is a good interaction between the two Bobby's. They were my favs as a kid.

It was also cool to see Scott do a reversal on Wolverine. As the confused rogue who escapes the mansion on a motorbike type. A true role reversal compared to the movie.....

An OK issue that needed more pages but am interested to see how Scott kicks the brotherhoods asses.
