I'll check it out, he's staring in the upcoming Creed right?

Thats the root of the issue. All these awesome characters COULD be integrated with the MCU, but fox is just sitting on them, dicking around. That's the real reason there's so much hate for this movie.

I completely understand the Hate and am really frustrated at Fox myself for that very reason.

I'm just saying IF they could do it right, make Doom a total bad ass, give us Galactus and SS properly in the sequel, then I wouldn't mind them keeping them, simply because they can crossover with X-Men.

I do like the idea of a FoxMCU where the X-Men and FF have to band together to battle Silver Surfer and Galactus. Or Doom and Magneto teaming up.

So I'm just hoping for some great crossovers whichever way this ends up going, flopping back to the MCU, or moving successfully forward to the X-Men Universe.

They already Fk'd Doom up. There is no getting him right. No amount of (The Ultimates Doom) "Whoops, we screwed up and they hate it; let's make him look and act like normal Doom now" can fix it. It's fkd. Doom has now 3 live action movies; 2 of which were terrible, and the third is looking to do the same.

Secondly, I don't want them crossing over with another studios' version of Marvel characters; I want them crossing over with the Marvel Studios Marvel characters. I want all Marvel characters under one roof eventually. If these no talent studios like Fox and Sony keep pumping out movies, the quality is most likely going to stay the same AND we'll not see those characters THE WAY THEY SHOULD BE.
And that is one of the most important parts.

We need these other studios to keep tanking and making shit films, so the rights (ala Daredevil) will finally be back where they should be.

Oh no doubt Marvel studios would make better movies and do the characters justice. But I think things like the Sony/Marvel deal are the best moves going forward. Other studios making some of the films but within Marvel's control.

Simply because Marvel's line up is jam packed. If they start giving us Spider-Man, X-Men and FF movies, then that will mean a lot less properties Like GOTG, Black Panther and Dr. Strange.

I mean honestly if Marvel had the rights to Spider-Man and the X-Men from when they first got their own studio, I doubt we would have even gotten Avengers yet.

So everything being under the one studio might not be as we imagine 8n practice. Just look at WB/Dc. All we've had from them for so many years were Batman and Superman.

There is no "but" after your first sentence. That's all that matters. Also, Marvel ISN'T in control of this fkng catastrophe FF movie. That's the problem.

No it won't. Marvel Studios is trying to make as many good movies as they can. I gauruntee if they had the FF rights a movie would have been at least started by now. Dr. Doom is Marvel's best villain; and the FF are one of their most famous super hero groups.

I disagree. They said many times that Avengers was planned from the First Iron Man movie. They had a vision when this all started. Perhaps it would have been pushed back a little, but they knew what they wanted and when they wanted.

You can't compare apples and oranges. Marvel =/=DC. In fact, while Marvel was critisized for not having the best comics in the early movie days, their movies have been kicking DC's movies butts for years. DC is scared to make moves, and when they do they've been wrong. We'll have to see how Suicide Squad and all their upcoming plans play out. OF course THE movie that is critical to their success is Dawn of Justice.

That's because they don't actually make the movies.

Fair.

Yes but that was because they knew they didn't have the rights to Spider-Man, X-Men or the FF. If they did, they'd have been giving us those movies for years first before thinking about Avengers.

I mean look how Marvel have actually pushed back their own plan and shuffled things around just for to fit Sony's Spider-Man into their movies. I think that says it all.

Because they took massive risks with their B-List characters. Again really not sure how much of those risks would have been taken if they had their more iconic characters from Day1.

Of course I'm speculating. I just think not having the rights to their more iconic characters might have been a blessing in disguise for them.

They both have to be successful as does Wonder Woman tbh. WB needs to prove they can make successful properties without Batman and Superman being the stars.

^ Even once Marvel established success and a degree of iconicness with Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Hulk, they decided to make Guardians of the Galaxy. That suggests that even if they had the rights to properties like Fantastic Four and Spiderman, they still would've found time for other unique projects like gotg or antman.

Well not necessarily. Because by that point they knew all their Unknown properties were potential goldmines in their hands. They know that now and will try every new property they can.

That's not necessarily why Marvel is trying every new property that they can. It could be that because the Marvel brand is established now, Marvel is willing to take risks on properties like guardians of the galaxy and Antman. Had Marvel already had the rights to Fantastic Four and Spiderman, it could be that the Marvel brand would've become established much sooner and would've taken the risks on properties like guardians of the galaxy and Antman much sooner.

See how it can go either way.

^ It's all speculation. I just think it's a blessing in disguise that Marvel were forced to work on their B-List characters, and make those characters iconic. Because that's a formula that will make more and more unknown superheroes popular. They've done a fantastic job with the Avengers which has changed cinema really.

Can't wait for the Great Lakes Avengers trilogy. 👆

Just saw a trailer. it looks good, but what's up with the Human Torch? He's black.

Yeah, I think if Marvel had the rights to all their characters, the MCU would mostly be about X-men and Spider-man. Hell it may had been awhile before they gotten around to even adapting Iron Man.
