Aquaman is lucky he has TOAA on his side (Geoff Johns).Batman can still win, though. Hopefully he drop kicks Johns out of ever writing him.

Seemed to work fine for Supes in the first issues of current JL.
I love Johns using Batman as he should be used.
Batman is a normal human who should have died most of the times he even stepped in a battlefield full of characters that can fry him with a stare or toss a mountain on him (same for most streets like Hawkeye, Cap, Green Arrow, etc)
I love him as a character, but his PIS shield is second to none.
Johns is good for Batman in JL.
Did you guys watch the Robot Chicken DC Comics parody? Hilarious shit, poor Aquaman.

Johns uses Batman as "how can I make the character I like better [i.e. everybody] look good using Batman?"

I agree on the Morrison part (eg the way he took down Hyperclan), but for every good Batman feat (and fan) there are always those that are pure fan fiction, like the infamous Batman Confidential issues, some Batman/Superman issues and ALL of the times a metahuman punches Batman to the head and his head doesn't fly like a football.
In this case Batman can't compete with AQ on a physical level.

Nowadays, they just hit harder, somehow.

Exactly.
And that's not even lazy writing.
It's admitting to favoritism on the part of the writer.
Of course Batman can pwn people way more powerful than him (via skills and gadgets). But owning them through strength and "hitting them hard and fast" is just laughable.

Which is super human.
Only slightly.
Near superhuman seems more fitting.
A normal human could get to his level without the juice in theory, but he would have to be perfectly trained, fed etc constantly to achieve that.
That's my understanding.
Not really superhuman, but more than a human could realistically achieve.
