That's only iconic in that it shows just how far Cyclops has fallen.

If there's one thing that says "Cyclops", it's this scene.

Cyclops is shit.

Dirty ass mutant.

A moment that has always stood put in my mind would be around the time of the first appearance of Venom. That scene where he goes to peters in the black suit with no mouth and MJ confuses him with spiderman until he opens his mouth and freaks her out.

I enjoyed that. Had hopes they would recreate that scene in the movies.

When did Cyclops fall happen? Is it because of the Xmen 2 movie?

As far as I'm concerned, it was right around when Joss Whedon finished his Astonishing X-Men run.

When Jackie Estacado set himself on fire after Avenging Jenny's death.

He was burned so bad that the only things left were his teeth, and once night hit, the Darkness resurrected him in a painful way.

That's when Jackie reliaze how much of a ***** dying would be.
