Let me ask you something.
If a character capable of damaging Thanos and managed to stop time then can they beat Thanos?
If yes, then what's the difference in 1st person perception of between being vastly faster than someone and stopping time?

The bizarro incident was total crap, and in a book that doesn't fit in canon very well. It's never had that problem due to crazy/weird foes before.
The one time the lasso truly broke in canon, the Rama Khan incident, was when she firmly and strongly went against the truth due to her preconceptions, and that started to cause the concept of truth itself to unravel. Rama Khan did not actually break it, he was just involved.
The Queen of Fables also kinda did so once, but in that case it just came back together on it's own, there was no truth unraveling and it was whole when she needed it almost immediately after. So, take from that what you will.

my point was thanos wasn't breaking it and i think that at least can be said with some certainty. imo anyway.
Wonder Woman throws the lasso over Thanos, Superman uses freeze breath on him then Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) creates 2 huge boxing gloves that pound Thanos along with Martian Manhunter using psionic blasts and Superman using heat vision, Wonder Woman using her lasso spinng Thanos around then throwing him into the ground several times, Superman Martian Manhunter Wonder Woman and Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) using spike gloves all blitz him finishing with Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) hitting him with a huge green baseball bat, and Superman with a flying super punch.

That was a one dimension blast. He would hit only one member, assuming they don't dodge, become intangible, block it, or deflect it back at Thanos.
If Thanos is lassoed then he can't blast at all since his hands are tied. His eye blasts are so so IMO.
And since we are using Thanos top blasts then don't let me get started on the Krona buster, and Superman high end strength feats, etc.
