His omniblast aren't really omniblasts but rather multidirectional.
Also his multidirectional blasts haven't proven to be strong enough to seriously damage a herald level being. Remember power concentrated into one beam >>>>>>power of an multidirectional attack (power is split).
Also the such blasts can be shielded against, intangible, etc.
And if Thanos would omniblast from the get go then some members on the team can blitz him from the get go. Many members on the team are faster than Thanos can could possibly beat him to the punch.
There is so much wrong with this post I don't know where to begin. First, his omni blasts ARE enough to hurt a herald, in fact, they are more than enough to put them for the count. In fact, his omni blasts have ONE SHOT KILLED A HIGH HERALD WITH THE SOUL GEM. So, yes it's more than enough to put them down for good. Second, nobody on this team can say they've done the same thing.. One shot killing a high herald WITH a powerful artifact. Third, they aren't going to blitz him from the start since they fight in character and wouldn't do that right away.. they dont' fight that way. Fourth, even if they tried that, Thanos would just raise is hand or shields and stop any movement towards him dead in their tracks.

It was strange how that happened, didn't quite look like a simple blast. Looked like a spell or something. Or that Thanos scared the shit out of him lol.
Also Thanos was amping off that big ass gem earlier.
Funny how it didn't seem like he could do that to Thor.
I wouldn't take too much into that feat, if anything at all.
Thanos can literally phuck up JLA day period, with Thanos powers and tech JLA is in world of trouble, Martian Manhunter isn't powerful enough to even phase Thanos neither does Wonder Woman. Thanos can teleport on whim, he can at lest encase two of the JLA, and take two on at the same time, Thanos is powerful enough and smart enough.
