Then they couldn't call themselves well-informed Christians 🙂. You see, I was taught of the 3 Heavens back in my Bible-school days(early 90s.) Your ignorance of the Bible isn't my problem, sinner. 🙂

Bran posted a few excerpts from the Bible. You'd have to be a biased moron to act like those excerpts in some way negate the fact that there are 3 levels of Heaven, per established Christian theology(and only one of those levels is limited to the earth.) 😆/🙄

The fact that the needy, obsessive, attention whore "God" of the Preacherverse TOTALLY fixated on the planet Earth and it's inhabitants doesn't set off warning bells?

No other planet in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE is ever seen or mentioned. No alien races, nothing.

We're to believe an attention whore like the Preacherverse "God" created an entire UNIVERSE void of life except on the planet Earth?! Sorry not buying it.

You people are the ones who tried saying that Heaven is confined solely on earth, and used RL Bible quotes to justify this assumption. I merely corrected that line of thinking with [the most] accurate information.

Don't attempt to change the subject in that regard... And stop trying to hate on me for preaching the gospel. 🙂

Team Thanos didn't bring the bible into this. That was all Team SoK's doing. Team Thanos merely said, even if you use the bible to try and boost that fail "God" in the Preacherverse, it still don't help much.

Branlor's scans/pages are absolutely devastating, that's why Team SoK's is looking to other sources aside from the comic to bolster their case.

It's not working.

Well he does... In a sense:
1. The first Heaven is the atmosphere above us.
2. The second Heaven is the stellar Heaven, the sun, moon, and stars.
3. The third Heaven is where God resides, above the other two regions.
Technically, he sits WAY the phuck above earth. 😉

Either way, I wasn't really talking about the comic. Just making it known that Bible quotes cannot be used in an attempt to confine Heaven/God solely to earth, when multiple levels of Heaven(well beyond earth) exist, per the Bible.

Bran's Bible quotes(which are all I'm talking about) don't prove anything here. There are multiple Heavens in Christian theology, and only one of those levels are confined to earth-- the other levels sit infinitely above earth. So ya, either read a Bible or Google the shit, but don't act dumb for the sake of acting dumb. 👆

Who cares about Branlor's bible quotes? I was talking about his Preacherverse SCANS, you know the comic that one of the characters in this thread originated from.

We saw nothing of any other alien race or planet in the Preacherverse. Why would such a feeble attention whore like Preacherverse "God" not populate an entire universe with creations that would fawn all over him?

He seemed AWFULLY fixated on ONE PLANET.

Then Branlor posted those scans of "Heaven" from the Preacherverse and it all made sense.

I did, hence my last few posts. 👆

I don't care what your opinion is on the Preacherverse God/Satan/SoK, tbh. That argument got stale for me several pages back.

Ah, that makes sense.

Debating useless bible quotes instead of providing any kind of proof of the supposed omnipotence of Preachervese "God" is a nice way of taking attention away from the fact that, he (Preacherverse "God"😉, doesn't have anything on panel worth mentioning in a VS thread.

above the circle of Earth. Not way above, not somewhere else, above

Doesn't the bible say something about outer space being water, and that God opens heaven to make it rain...

Providing the correct information regarding a specific topic referenced in a thread=/=taking attention away from anything. Stop acting dumb.

F*ck if I know. I haven't read that storybook in YEARS. /shrug

bibles dumb.

Earth is fixated by pillars, the moon is a source of light, sun rises, outer space is rain, etc

The second heaven just seems like a way to make it make sense ever since we went to space. Certainly we can't have the moon and sun at the highest part of the dome, and the stars sparkles anymore. Meh, stupid bible talk. Lol at it being brought up though

Yeah I haven't read it since I was small. Had some good plot lines and arcs though iirc

Yeah, that one arc where some dude was nailed to a swastika by the Jews was my fav. 👆

😂

I liked the part where David Carradine was mud wrestling a midget, and then auto erotically asphyxiated and died

Speaking of... I'm going to go spank it and pass out.

Thanos wins. Uh yeah, he's so great

Three Heavens?

I went to a Bible school for 5 years (Jr & High) and never heard of that.

I've read my Bible (King James) and never saw that either.

There's only One Heaven that I know of. (unless there's a Retcon I'm clueless about)

... According to Jesus,
the "Kingdom of God" (Heaven) is withIN all of us.
But we have to 'pass a test' for lack of a better phrase
to be granted access into this glorious realm/dimension.

The 'Test' being "Life" ... when you die it's finished ...
... you receive a spiritual score ... you pass into Glory or you fail into Damnation.

Don't ask me about the specifics, but those are the definite basics. 🙂

Dont' trouble yourself over it Mr. M. Bringing in the bible was a last ditch effort by Team SoK's to prop up their boy. It didn't work.

Thanos wins 10/10!

i read about this once. supposedly there are three heavens.

the atmosphere as we know it.

the outerspace/universe

the dwelling place of God and angels.

they are all separated by some form of liquid. It may be a creative interpretation of the first few passage of the bible where it says God separate the earth from sea(s). It was an interesting read lol.

as for this debate, i really can't decide as both sides of the arguments are pretty even (imo). If i had to choose, i gotta say, SOK. dude froze hell and killed god lol. Unless we used thanos with some kind of upgrade (CC IG), it's somewhat difficult to give this to Thanos. However, is Thanos still immune to death? If so...most likely thanos win, though.

@Galan: Nah, that's just a televangelist taking biblical quotes out of context to validate modern-day creation science bullshit.

Seeing how geocentricism was the norm back when the Bible was created, Bran is technically right.

And lol at you motherphuckers turning this into a theological discussion, when there is only one true, flawed, depraved, mad scavenger God to worship: me, Thanos of Titan!
