I just saw the movie. As usual I actually thought Magneto was cooler and more charismatic than Xavier though he did some truly dumb things in this movie so I was only half rooting for him.
Quicksilver was great and I don't really understand why he couldn't solve every problem in the movie by himself.

It is the unfortunate circumstance of introducing a true speedster on film.
The fight between Mystique, Magneto, the X-men, and the Presidential cabinet? Easily solved by Quicksilver.
For real. He could have easily resolved the entire conflict and put Magneto to sleep.

And he could have run in and swiped her blood lickidy split.

Can't believe they recast Striker for DOFP with an actor at least 15 years younger than the actor playing him 2 years later in Origins:Wolverine. And I thought DOFP was supposed to fix continuity errors.
As for Xavier walking again, that can easily be a mental projection like when he's talking to Mystique in DOFP.
