On a serious note now, Elektra has done things in both canon and non-canon that can - at the very least - convince us she's a match for master ninja/move reading opponent like Shiva.

I could see Danny beating tp, but Mr. X really did get picked on by Remender. That Mr. X centric story afterwards was probably damage control, to remind fans he's competent.

If Lady Shiva is a mishandled jobber... then what exactly makes her more skilled than Elektra? A whole lot of nothing. Feat for feat she doesn`t stack up against Elektra. Clearly. Elektra beats Daredevil when they fight. Shiva loses to Batman. Elektra beats Taskmaster when they fight. Shiva loses to Prometheus. Spare me the list of excuses for why poor old mishandled Lady Shiva got jobbed out and counter with her actually doing something. Lady Shiva is all hype, and her hype has never been justified on panel. What makes Shiva more skilled than Elektra? That she is allegedly more skilled than Batman (someone who Elektra is also more skilled than...) but has never demonstrated it on panel... There is not a single concrete piece of evidence that Shiva is more skilled than Elektra, and thats all that matters in a debate.

The story afterwards was planned a long time before T-Bolts going to being shit, I believe. Not that it matters.
OK, it happened, but it was Remender at his worst, he never treats villains that way even if he wants them to lose. Pretty sure he knew 1 issue was all he needed to do.

If you aren't judging Shiva on the merits of her actually accomplishments, just what is it that makes you feel she is more skilled than Elektra? And why should we refer to your twist interpretation of the character when a feat by feat comparison clearly paints Elektra as superior?
