Also, apparently Covenant will not be abandoning the mythology from Prometheus because there is another big head statue under construction (image attached).

Oh snap 🙁 Now they might end up using the Deacon designs that were featured in Dark Horse's Prometheus the Complete Fire and Stone Collection Hardcover. I was hoping they use Spaihts's design of the Beluga-Xenomorph. It looks like they'll be ignoring it.

What Deacon design from the Prometheus portion of that story?....only thing i remember from it was, They were some Xeno's from Hadley's Hope

or are you referring to something extra that comes with the hardcover collection?

Yes I was referring to the Extra Contents of the Hardcover. The Deacon was featured in it with a fully grown Engineer Variant and a fully grown Human Variant. The fully grown Deacon Engineer Variant was 20 feet tall give or take while the fully grown Deacon Human Variant was around 10-12 feet tall give or take. The Extra Content also mentioned that the Deacon and its Variants was suppose to appear in Fire and Stone. But the story was scrapped because the sequel(Alien Covenant) to Prometheus was announced. I have scans of those Deacon designs. But I need a site besides Photobucket to upload them.

Shit, I guess I need to get the hardcover version. That's what I get for ordering them separately as they came out. F#ck, that pisses me off.

The Xenomorphs are the best but the Engineers are what brought Ridley Scott back. I do want to explore their story and see what the ultimate connection is between them.

As far as Predator - this is the second attempt to reboot. And they have Shane Black. Odds are it will be set during Christmas...

Be wary.

TBH I would've done the same thing you did if the single issue formats of Fire and Stone were sold from where I'm from. The TPBs of Fire and Stone were released. But it was a disappointment again since Prometheus Fire and Stone Omega isn't available on those TPBs. The Hardcover was a relief since it collects everything with extra contents like Aliens Confidential. Now that Dark Horse recently did Life and Death(which will have Predator,Prometheus,Aliens and AVP), I'm going to wait for it to have a Hardcover release.

Like you I don't mind the Xenos being reintroduced. My only gripe was the rumor that Alien Covenant will have Trilobites which leads me to believe they might scrap Spaihts's Beluga-Xenomorph as the ancestor of the Xenos we see in the film.

As for Predator, I heard it will be a soft reboot. It may still consider the events of Predators canon but with some changes to it. Kinda like a requel.

The only thing i disliked about Fire & Stone was the order they released them.
