Why does every "discussion" in this thread have to sound like a grumpy old married couple?

Thread has gone to shit because of it.

Yes, stated. Which has nothing much to do with the Underverse, as they never got there and only hinted at what it entailed.

So a universe potentially full of Emos would do it for you. Easily entertained.

Odd.

The characters were from the Underverse. The idea was created in this movie.

They weren't emo's and The Lord Marshal was cool.

You disagree which is fine. My opinion always threatens you.

Apologies to both of you. While on topic, I allowed Quanchi's antics to turn the thread into shit again by participating in them. My error; will correct.

Concession accepted. I wear the pants here.

Anyhow. Riddick.

Yes, I hope they explore the Furyan mythos further.

Calm down. Insulting gives validity to my comments. Others agree with me so quit bashing.

What comments? We've established that you like shiny lights, explosions, terrible dialogue, terrible costumes, poorly written mythology that doesn't fit at all with any other aspects of the 'universe' and is completely out of kilter with the rest of the characters and plot.

You prefer all that over interesting characters with agendas that conflict with others. Motivations that clash. Overt and concealed likes and hatred between characters. That's what made Riddick compelling. That each person in it had good and bad traits that made them all conflicted not only with each other but within themselves which dictated how they interacted with one another. Chronicles done away with all that and made everyone 1 dimensional cliches with the exception of Vaako whose relationship with his wife was a badly ripped off Macbeth and was so badly acted by both that it was laughable.

^ good lord, dude.. you suck internet donkey balls.

On a better note: is this an official website..?

Here comes that guy who takes someone ripping his favourite films as a personal insult. Haha. Belter. Absolute fud.

You feel like badass characters hellbent on little character development and just survival mode with a cast of characters against aliens is exciting.

Chronicles was far better. Your opinion isn't worth much considering you can't even refrain from lashing out.

And you're the guy who makes incorrect assertions that Riddick was a cold hearted bastard that had a hand in every death in PB... 🙄

Stop feeding the troll. He thrives on it.

I do, however, like the controversy that Riddick inspires. Hopefully this'll help its chances... heh

I will stop as well. He's such an obvious troll.

Do you think of the movie does awesome there is a chance to see a bug budget film again in the future ?

Honestly, I think they had a little TOO big of a budget with Chronicles. I mean, the "Air Elemental" effect was gimmicky to me. Didn't really like that. There's subtler ways of doing mythology (look at Game of Thrones). So, my hope is that they'll be able to accomplish most of what they want to accomplish with a smaller budget and an R-rating. Vin DID mention that the studio ALREADY voiced some interest in the original Chronicles sequels. Apparently the new film impressed them that much.

I hope so. Love these kinds of epic, mythos based films.

Also noticed in that 'Debut trailer' that there's a Necromonger in it or a mercenary wearing the same sort of armour.

It really depends on Vin's contractual commitments to the Fast/Furious franchise...
I don't know if it's a joke but the next one's already dated for release July next year.

I can't stand that franchise.

Your opinion isn't worth anything given that you haven't even watched most of the films you comment on. And obviously can't read either.
