What's nit-picking to you can also be deemed as an observation,Kaz.

Han(d) Solo...
"Stroking his wookie."

What do you call it?
Popping a Kaz?
Quanch-Jerking?
Squishy Sock Time???

Shows you what sort of mind you've got.

Im the most well known poster on all of kmc. Even here no one knows what a Jaden is.

After zero translations in Google translate.

I'm the biggest troll on kmc.

I'd never seen your user name until very recently but then I rarely visit the comic forums and it's rare for the halfwits from there to escape into the wider forums without getting permabanned.

I understand & respect your opinions. For me, the execution was fine & the expansion of Necormonger & Furyan myth & lore suited the film.

You think, "Necromonger" is laughingly bad, that's fine.
My counter point is Lucas coming up with silly names like Darth Maul, Han Solo, Jar Jar Binks & Mon Calamari.
Twohy gave us, The UnderVerse. Lucas gave us The Force.
Christ, how creative is naming something, The Force?

Riddick constantly on the run with bounty hunters after him is a good theme but like the Rocky movies, they would quickly become predictable following a set formula.

You might've found the Necros, Furyans & Elementals at odds with PB...but then again PB was a simple crash & survive tale...the audience was never meant to wonder what the rest of the universe was like beyond the planet. And if I was to take a wild guess, I would say that Twohy found more inspiration in novels/movies like Dune than Star Wars/Trek.

Star Wars was made as primarily a children's movie that has cemented itself as a pop culture icon. It can be forgiven for being cheesy and simplistic. Chronicles was written as a serious and violent film. Bit harder to forgive the cheese in that.

None in the video game versus, comic versus, and movie versus as well as other boards. No board is nastier and more competitive than the comic versus board.

No board is more chock full of morons either. Except maybe the conspiracy forum and the star wars forums.

Thats your opinion which is suspect to say the least.

I don't know how old you are but when Star Wars came out in 1977, it certainly was not aimed or marketed as a children's movie.
Kids under 15 had to be accompanied by adults to see it on the big screen.

No shame in masturbation Kaz.
Kinda explains why you're so frustrated on these boards. 😛

And yet the biggest revenue generator from it was the toys based on the movie. So yes. Kids movie.

Yes, that's my opinion. Which just so happens to be right.

No, it's wrong but it usually is. You're used to it.

Star Wars were kids films that captured the imaginations of adults worldwide.
Same as PIXAR films. Children's films that rake in blockbuster results.
What is your point?

Marvel and DC comics were written for children yet they grew up.
Mythology works that way. Arguably religion's roots were created in the same manner.
Adults wish to see their childhood heroes and myths represented on screen.
It may be escapism, but it is harmless storytelling.
It's all in good fun. UNTIL PEOPLE CAST SIDES AND SAY ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER 🙁

If you'd bothered to read back more than 2 posts you'd see what my point was.
