IM has the popularity. Loki has the feats.

I stick to my opinion that IM has a chance if he can disarm Loki, and keep the fight ranged.

Otherwise more times than not, Loki wins. He's just too durable.

So what do we know so far:

1. Chitauri guns can knock down and damage IM
2. Loki carries a staff that's chitauri in origin
3. Loki's daggers can cut and hurt Thor. IM's repulsors don't damage Thor
4. Loki was able to go toe to toe with Thor. IM needed a 400% power up.
5. Loki can be hurt but not damaged by IM's repulsors

And Loki can throw Asgardian daggers and energized daggers into targets with quick accuracy.

The energized versions shattered Frost Giant's ice constructs. Which tore through Asgardian durability, even Odin's eye.
And Loki threw such daggers into Frost Giant's chests.

I had this fight on pg 2.

Yes. Simple explanation: lasers are concentrated light that uses concentrated heat to cut or punch holes through objects (pulse laser). And you're telling me that IM's lasers are hot enough to cut through Loki even though Thor's lightning and Coulson's cannon didn't put a scratch on him. Now if you can prove to me that laser has a higher cutting power and temperature than lightning, then I might believe you.

And by the way, how would you call Coulson's cannon if it isn't laser?

Tony's laser decimated suits closely equivalent to his in durability. He would have cut Warmachine in half. His laser > Thor's lightning.

lol. Do you even know what a laser is? A laser can be a continuous beam or it can be a highly concentrated short burst called a pulse. That's pretty much what Coulson's cannon looked to emit. Maybe it wasn't a laser pulse, but that's what it looked like. And you have no proof that it isn't. If it's made of light and it uses heat to cut or cause injury then it's pretty close to a laser.

But even if it wasn't...

IM's lasers couldn't cut through the armor of the leviathan. Thor's lightning took out two of those plus a couple dozen smaller ships. Thor's lightning >>> IM's laser. Deal with it.

Every single person on this board knows that IM's lasers didn't cut through the leviathan. Jarvis specifically mentions that IM will run out of power before they can cut through the leviathan's armor.

Jarvis doesn't know shit. IM flew threw it and killed it easily, like a boss, but he could have done the same thing with his lasers. The same lasers that are going to kill Loki.
