You Vs Villains II

Resources. You only get knives, gun, and peak human physical attributes to start without 'skills' (Average You). Though I suppose you could use a day or two of that prep robbing a gun shop and improving your arsenal (though that would likely get you on someone's radar). Assuming the stipulation of prep being included with the week and Black Widow is still oblivious if you were to do something like that, that actually would put a lot of other options on the table. Particularly sniping.
So when you say "guns" would one of these be allowed?

The problem is, he wants her to either be a hermit or vary her routine at home so much that her neighbors will think she's paranoid. both of which would draw attention to her, which is the last thing a "superspy" would want to do.

Wearing a wig/shades/hat does not make a person into a crazy lady.

Having a varied routine will not be noticeable at all. Do you even care what your neighbors do with their day? Especially those that seem to disappear for months on end (when she's on assignment)? I certainly don't.

I've never assumed she would be carefree. My plan relies on surprise and speed for exactly that reason.

Suprise, speed as well as perfect timing and positioning (meaning a crapton of luck).

Ok gang,

Some clarification as requested:

- Real life setting. PIS is off.

- You start off with whatever skills YOU have. Not the average person, YOU. So if you are already an expert marksman, your answer might be different to someone else's.

- Gun = Pistol

- For round 1 you can use whatever resources YOU have in the seven days.

I don't think you can pick those up in your local gun shop or gun show.

You need to clarify a bit further.

What exactly is BW's "normal life" in this scenario?

Is she allowed whatever spy/assassin training she has to apply to her day to day life?

Is it safe to assume that she'd have safeguards against assassination?

Where does she live in this scenario?

Are we given a detailed dossier with her routines as well as pictures of her and possible disguises?

Does she live in a public apartment donning a secret identity? The Avengers (of w/e supervillain grp she's working for) Mansion?

Wearing a wig/shades/hat won't do any good if I'm watching the house/apt. and you vastly underestimate how nosy neighbors can be.

Then you'd have about the same chance of ending up shooting one of her friends/visitors/neighbors (if the apartment is a building with just one entrance/exit).

You vastly overestimate the relevance of having nosy neighbors in this discussion.

Having a varied routine will NOT make her the local "crazy lady" as you so put it. It would make her aloof at best and not raise any radars.

If she's in an apt, I'd be watching her door.

Hard to say exactly, but just like every human, she needs to eat, go to the toilet, sleep, do other things people do, even assassins.

In real life she would have her training, but no plot devices/safety net.

Safeguards? I don't see how I can give a too specific answer. I imagine she would have some at her residence, but at all places? No. This is just my opinion though. The OP regarding this is sufficient I think, I don't want a scenario that gives every single detail. This offer is presented to YOU. With your knowledge of her and your own skills, would you take it on given ONLY the info in the scenario.

You know her routine. You will be able to ID her. It's whether you have the smarts and balls to actually do it.

She lives in a generic highly populated city. New York would not be a bad model.

She lives in a residential dwelling (not a super spy base).

You're assuming she lives in single/duplex/attached/detached housing and not low/med/high rise apartment complexes (more common in big cities).

Most single/duplex housing rarely ever have hotels fronting the property and most low/med/high rise apartments have a single exit/entry for multiple units in multiple floors.

IRL peak human, Marvel Peak Human or DC Peak human for start?

So you're given a detailed dossier instead of simply "whereabouts"? How detailed is this routine? Do we have her times in/out of the apartment? Do we have her favorite hangout spots? What are we exactly provided? Pictures? Routine schedules?

....I order from the same catalogue as the Punisher.....

You aren't given a dossier, the knowledge is in your head. But just like any normal person, even if they do follow a schedule, it isn't going to be exactly the same every day. Try to think real life.

Added stips changes the factors within the debate /shrug.

Don't see why you quoted my post like it helped you in some way, tho, it looks like she'd be staying in an apartment complex so that throws your "I'll watch her door" argument in the crapper.

😛

His clarification made further debate pointless, so I posted them as my response.

You mean I can take a shotgun shot to the gut and still keep on trucking?

Hell yeah, that changes everything.
