There's also the fact that both Vader and Sidious have far more use for Ahsoka alive than dead. Beyond simply leading them to other Jedi, there's the chance to turn her to the Dark Side and such.

Ah yes, such a simple fact we've all forgotten.

Sidious has already demanded for Vader to bring in Ahsoka alive.

I'd rather have Vader toss Ahsoka in a woodchipper than have her turn to the dark side, tbh.

Also it may just be me, but does anyone else get this 'know it all' vibe from Hera?

Honestly, I can think of little that would demand Vader’s attention more than a Jedi led Rebellion. Especially a Jedi who has slain an Inquisitor that was dispatched to hunt him down and who has outmaneuvered Tarkin humiliating the Empire in the process.

The problem with that is, it was contrivance that brought Tarkin into the field at all.

Hera’s clearance code for the Rebel fleet is 121815.

I see what you did there.

The Databank seems to disagree, though.

What's the quote?

And is it the official canon databank you're talking about?

Never mind I found your quote in a another thread:

Mmm, after seeing this I think Vader might possibly take sabers:

Luke Skywalker was a Tatooine farmboy who rose from humble beginnings to become one of the greatest Jedi the galaxy has ever known.

^ But Nothing specific about Sabers what time frame he became one of the greatest Jedi by though.

Besides which Fisto/Tiin/Kolar called some of the best "Swordsman" in the history of the Jedi in the ROTS novel. Of course that was Kenobi's opinion and not a Databank fact.

Considering RotJ is currently the most powerful incarnation of Luke. It's pretty clear it's referring to him. Admittedly, greatest=/=most powerful.

Ahsoka surviving would just seem kind of convoluted and contrived whenever I imagine it. But, yeah, sure, there's a good chance they'll shy away from killing her for that sole reason.
Agreed, but I think death by Vader would be too brutal. Maybe an off-screen/explosion related death with a heroic sacrifice and what not might suffice.

Death by Vader would seem more logical and bring everything around, it would also be further 'destroying' Anakin Skywalker and his past life, something which Vader wants no memory of.

If she were to die I wouldn't want it to be off-screen, personally. And a heroic sacrifice is just too cliché/predictable, in my opinion.

I honestly don't know what outcome for Ahsoka I'd want, lol.

Well whatever happens she can't be a major member of the Rebellion when Luke is around. Nor can Kanan or Ezra for that matter.

True, apart from Rex and his Clones, I could very well see her die as some kind of sacrifice or something. Kinda like Old Ben, she just up and leaving the Rebellion I don't see happening so the writers can't pull that stunt again like they did with her leaving the Order without it being confusing and it just wouldn't make sense.

Kanan and Ezra though...I feel might have more wiggle room considering Kanan doesn't want to be any part of the Rebellion, Ezra wants to help and so does the rest of the crew. Buuut....there's that wiggle room there.

Plot twist: Vader turns Ezra to the dark side and he backstabs an unsuspecting Ahsoka.

Well that is what Freddy Prince was getting at in the video Joker posted. That Luke was the greatest Jedi because he refused to fight.

Even though he's taken the Luke lowballing to a whole new level, this is a recurring thing I keep reading/hearing from people working at Lucasfilm. That ROTJ Luke was not a properly trained Jedi yet.

Shame. They must not have watched RotJ. 🙁

Not as good as ESB admittedly. But still, a good film.
