Superman(Man of Steel) vs Marvel

Jor-El beat the phucking shit out of Zod.

And I immensely loved every second of it.

Russel Crowe owned this movie.

"Kal will finish what we started. My son is twice the man you were."

Jor-El continued the ownage from beyond the grave.

I'm sure you did.

And Jor-El did own this movie in everything.

Just remembered Faora's "You will not win. For every human you save we will kill a million more" line...and she wasn't kidding when she said that.

Even Jor-El's ghost was owning Zod lol.

Faora was handing clark the asswhupping of a lifetime before (Non?) joined the fight. I loved the look of the action and how realistic the fighting and strength looked. In that regard, I got exactly what I wanted to see.

I agree he overshadowed Supermanmamong everyone else. Jor El stole the show.

Yeah, the action surprised me. If Snyder directs the JL, things will be much more epic.

Snyder will be sent to jail after a giant lawsuit when people have epileptic seizures and heart attacks if Snyder directs JL.

Look at all the action Avengers had without Snyder's touch. All this action was possible because of all the heroes on screen...the JL on screen with Snyder's antics...well

Pretty much. MOS made the Avengers look like childsplay. Now think of the JL in one movie?

I think they'll only introduce 3 JL members for the first movie, though.

No, it did not.

Nah, but it did make it look like a Disney movie.

Were you the one who twitted that? lol

What you did there, I see it.

I agree. The Avengers did not look like "Child's play". Let's not get crazy here. A single Kryptonian was way more powerful than a single Chituari, of course. But the damage caused overall wasn't that much more in MOS.

Did you miss all the crumbling buildings and overall destruction?

Golgo needs to calm down. If the Christ allegory was any stronger, and the tone any more dire, we would have had to rename the movie "Passion of the Kal." I enjoyed it too, but hyperbole suits nothing in critique.

In any case, this is a vs. battle. Any reason the telepaths wouldn't wreck movie Kal?

New York City was mostly intact. Metropolis had a huge empty ruin in addition to all the damage caused elsewhere in the city. That's also ignoring the damage done in Smallville.

I know. I'm just making false claims like certain other claims that have been made here....trying to join the party.
