Those fight vs the INEXPERIENCED kryptonians in Kansas were kick ass, and then ZOD ramps it up by stepping up his game.
The level of destruction this kryptonians caused is higher than what the chituari did with new York all that destruction and none of the kyptonians had a single scrath on them.

Remember that the Avenger's main concern was containing the Chitauri at all cost so they wouldn't cause much damage.
Also the Kryptonians got hurt, not a lot but it did happen 😛

Johnny going "Super Skrull" didn't mention anything about amping, did it? It merely gave him the entire FF's power set.
Which means Surfer may be very strong against energy attacks, but significantly weaker against physical attacks.
Man of Steel beats Thing in a brawl, imo.

Well, if you mean Faora getting knocked out by a missile, I think that was more sensory overload. Even comic book Superman got KOed by simple stuff like falling into the pavement with Silver Banshee on him, as he's resisting her magic scream on the way down.. When you're already struggling to maintain consciousness, it doesn't take much to finish you off.
And as for Non, being knocked off his feet doesn't mean he was hurt.. Being new to his powers, plus being caught off guard. He tanked worse.

Physical attacks aren't what ended up beating Surfer, it was tech from Doom and Reed. It's just speculation what level of physical attacks could beat movie Surfer, because the movie never showed that.
