Bane's best feat is moving the a stone/Tomb of Freedon Nadd. I'm unaware of its size, but he did so with exhaustion and effort.
The feat is inferior to what Maul has done but on the other hand, it was done shortly before he got the orbalisk ie in Rule of Two.
He reached back into his past, dredging up memories buried deep in his subconscious: memories of his father, Hurst; memories of the beatings; memories of the hatred he bore for the man who had raised him. As he did so, he felt his power building.
It started, as it always did, with a single spark of heat. The spark quickly became a flame, and the flame an inferno. Bane's body trembled with the strain as he fought to contain the power, letting the dark side energy build to a critical mass. He forced himself to endure the unbearable heat as long as he could, then thrust his fist forward, channeling everything inside him toward the stone blocking him from his destiny.
The heavy slab flew across the room and struck the far wall with a heavy thud. A long vertical crack appeared in the wall, though the dark stone block itself was undamaged. Bane dropped to his knees, panting from the exertion. He looked up to see the ghostly watchers still keeping their vigil beside the entrance. With a shake of his head, he crawled to the now-open doorway and peered in.
-Rule of Two
Way to selectively quote, buddy. You're learning! 👆
Unfortunately I also possess RoT:
'Summoning his strength, Bane reached out with the Force and tried to pull the stone toward him. It barely moved. The stone was heavy, but it was more than sheer mass that held it in place. There was something fighting his power, resisting him. Bane took a deep breath and tilted his head from side to side, loudly cracking his neck as he gathered himself for another attempt.'
I was going to post that actually.
Either way, it's not superior to anything Maul has done. The stone itself is only one meter high:
They stood a meter apart, each on one side of a small doorway carved in the back wall. The door was only a meter high, and was blocked by a tightly fitted slab of black stone, giving Bane hope once more.
With just TK? Overpowering 4 Sith Assassins at once. Tearing through Qo'ordis' barriers like paper. Disintegrating metal shackles with 'a mere thought' and blowing apart a durasteel celldoor with enough force for it to fly across the room and kill someone, while drugged. With lightning? Reducing humans to dust and a drexl (comparable in size to a Krayt Dragon) to a charred, smoking husk with his lightning (in DoE his lightning is similarly potent so don't try the orbalisk game). Disintegrating a plastic webbing despite being weakened and crippled. Disintegrating stone. Unleashing an ionic storm potent enough to melt blasters and following it up with a force wave powerful enough bounce half a dozen guards off the walls hard enough to crack the stone and pulp their internal organs, both while drugged.
At one point in DOE he speeds up his perception to the point where time stands still and he can see and sense everything around him despite having been hit by stun rifles, flash grenades and having his power stunted. He also blocks half a dozen concussion grenades in the same state.
I should really read through DoE some day. I'm sure theres more gems.
Throwing feats in Bane-haters faces would make it all worthwhile. Theres also a bit where he's fast enough that when faced with 3 enemies pointing guns at him he can run over, stab one of them, catch her gun in midair and shoot the other two before anyone can fire a shot.
Other than... him of course....
Whoops, they did fire a shot. Whatever:
'The remaining five guards scrambled to their feet, grabbing for their weapons. Bane lashed out with the Force. The fury of his attack was muted by the last lingering effects of the drugs in his system, but it was still strong enough to knock them all to the floor and send the table flying into the wall, where it cracked in half.
Bane fell on the guards like an enraged animal, moving so quickly he was nothing but a blur. He brought his boot down on the throat of his nearest opponent, crushing his windpipe. He wrapped his muscular forearm around the next man's neck from behind in a choke hold, braced his other palm against his chin, and wrenched his head to the side, breaking his neck.
The last three opponents were back on their feet, blasters drawn. Bane yanked a short vibroblade from the belt of the man with the broken neck and plunged it into the belly of a woman before she could bring her pistol to bear. She doubled over from the fatal blow, releasing her grip on her weapon.
Bane dropped to the floor and caught it before it hit the ground, ducking under the bolts fired from the remaining two enemies as he rolled onto his back and fired a pair of perfectly placed shots. The guards both toppled over backward, their faces erased by the impact of a blaster bolt at point-blank range.'

Cognus could follow their movements, and Cognus has done absolutely nothing at this point indicating she's as fast as Maul who could not even see Sidious.Again, if he did show such an extreme amount of speed in a duel, then sure. But he hasn't. None of his other speed feats are even remotely close to that. Isn't that a little odd?
Cognus is extremely fast as Bane notes in her ambush, plus she has the unique power of blunting other ability to use the Force. This effect is apparantly quite potent given that Bane's lightning is said to have diminished in potency from 'incinerate completely' to merely kill in her presence. That it would diminish Banes speed is to be expected. Besides, when are you talking about?
Yes he has. Why wouldn't he be using his speed in a duel? Zannah notes that he's faster than she can imagine in their fight, not to mention the other great examples of his speed being used in fights, appearing to wield a dozen lightsabers at once (to Zannah, a powerful Sith Lord), almost blitzing the Jedi Strike team, blitzing sith assassins, moving fast enough to be imperceptible by onlooking Sith etc.
Seriously, give me a reason why he would only be using that speed there and never else. Logically he would be using the same amount of speed in all other occasions. Your argument is like if I said 'why didn't Sidious use his "blitz 3 masters" speed in his fight with Yoda?' Obviously he was. The text just doesn't make mention of it. Its already established his speed, it doesn't need to do so again when its so flipping obvious that he's still be moving that fast.

Oh please. It specifically says ''once been'', and the excerpt was from the first few pages.
I don't see how thats incompatable with what I said. In fact, my theory seems to be supported by the text. In their final fight Zannah notes that Bane is 'faster than she could ever have imagined', indicating that he's faster than he was when he attacked her in your quote, the 'appeared to wield a dozen lightsabers' quote.

Prove he used the speed to intercept every drop of rain for ten minutes against Zannah.
Why wouldn't he be using his Force Speed to its fullest extent in a fight to the death duel with Zannah after 20 years of preparing and with the belief that she needs to beat him fair and square?

It'd be obvious.
Indeed. Obviously he'd be more powerful and have superior Force Mastery as an older man.

Nah. Remember how Sidious, holding back, dominated Maul and Savage (of who Maul is extremely skilled) and fought evenly with Yoda (perhaps the most skilled Jedi ever at that point), Yoda also defeated Dooku twice.
Through being more powerful, not more skilled. Where is it noted that either of the prevailed through sheer skill?

So what?
Thats what I'm wondering. Why bring up Zannah At all?
Doubt it.
She's more powerful than him and if she can defend against Bane she can surely defend against Maul, who is weaker and slower. Maul has failed to penetrate Kenobi's defense, so what makes you think he'll penetrate hers?
