Well what did you expect? After all, when one guy is at bare minimum 30-40% stronger then the other guy, death happens.
uhuh

I still don't understand why you think Thor used a lightning bolt when the lightning trail is completely consistent and in-line with the other times Thor (And even Superman) swung Mjolnir. I seriously think Thor using a lightning bolt would have taken the fight to an entirely new level and would have been highlighted.I thought you meant he recovered earlier. Yeah, he got up at the same time. Superman could barely talk after his fight with Thor and they couldn't even finish him off right, so useless.
Did they mention the artifacts, his battle with a Cosmic entity and everything etc.? I'm not in the habit to jumping to conclusions personally, especially not with crossovers.
Funny, he took the point blank repulsor blasts when one of those knocked out wonder woman and kyle rayner and a punch from simon to go down. Your desperation is amusing.
They mentioned that he destroyed several universes which only happened in JLA/Avengers and that he was turned into a cosmic egg.

Then Thor's like 90% more powerful because Clark nearly wet himself when he felt the power of Mjolnir.

Must have taken ques from Zatanna who clearly just finished returning Superman's soul to his body.

You don't understand a lot of things. I said I disagree and even provided a scan of lightning hitting J'onn.Funny, he took the point blank repulsor blasts when one of those knocked out wonder woman and kyle rayner and a punch from simon to go down. Your desperation is amusing.

Combined with his own power. He had a more "whoa" moment when he merged with captain marvel. He must be more powerful than thor.
Can youl link it again please? I don't remember lightning hitting John but us seeing him being knocked away with a similar lightning trail.
Hmm, I specifically recall Iron Man saying the two would recover in momnets or something of the sort. I'm not desperate, why would I be?
Still don't understand why you think the entire event is canon to DC. That doesn't even make sense as inherently they can't mention anything involving Marvel.
Nope. Nah.

I'm not desperate, why would I be?Making all sort of excuses and shit? Superman was barely standing there, huh?

Nope. Nah.Yes. Yeah.

I laugh everytime I see that thor was still clutching his chin. That's what you get for being a small god from a small world.Best. Smack-talk. Ever.
I like how, using his vastly superior speed, Supes evades the hammer strike only to introduce his fist to Thor's face an instant later. 👆
That's how any encounter between the two would really go after all. Thor swinging away as ineffectually as a .130 hitter, while Supes dances around him gracefully peppering him with multiple slaps at hypersonic speeds until the microsecond that he deems it time to "turn the dials up to 11".

Superman then took pity on the slug swinging hammer below and held back his speed and strength. We all saw what happened when he truly punched him for once. Before that he was just smack-talking the puny god.

A few nice little nods to the originals in the film as well. You'll notice them right away I'm sure.
edit: Actually it fits in nicely considering that the original ED1 isn't truly canon to the series mythos anymore. ED2 was actually a reboot of sorts of the original if you can believe that...
