Making any significant changes to Aquaman would defeat the purpose of putting him in a movie in the first place, imo.

How so? I mean I don't have a good amount of knowledge of the New 52 but doesn't Aquaman already have hydrokinesis abeit its from his trident. So what would be wrong with giving Aquaman his water-controlling trident?

I do agree with this. As I said, the film will fail if the script fails. MoS was definitely flawed, and if those flaws cross over to the new films, there could be a major problem. But as I said, this all has to do with the scriptwriting

Based on what Affleck's shown, IMO he can handle the role. He's only bad in badly written films like Gigli. He's great when given a good script to work with.

i wasn;t.. i was reading hollywood reporter online and that was when i saw them..
Bale's Batsuit is best one i have seen in the movies followed by Keaton's.. if indeed Affleck tried on one it could have been Bale's unless WB still has the originals in storage.. as for this version i would love to see something similar to what comic book Bruce currently wears
