Let's not kid ourselves, people have been doing this to all movies not just Marvel ones. In fact, I've only seen many people nitpick IM3 and AoU.

Maybe once in passing for other movies, but fanboys will hold up small canonical or plot/judgment errors(or most likely only what THEY view as an error) as a weakness on the movie itself. Even the Marvel movie that did the best at crossing it's T's and dotting it's I's, Cap 2, I constantly see people complain that its some huge plot hole that they didn't call in the Avengers, therefore the quality of the film takes a hit 🙄

- Those suits, especially the Mark 42, were the product of a sleep-deprived, PTSD-addled Stark in the wake of Avengers. I think their shoddiness was reflective of Stark's psyche.

Never thought of it that way. Gotta say my favorite part of the movie was the way they nailed the leaps in tech sophistication Stark makes from time to time. First movie he needed a series of machines to put on the armor. I fist pumped everytime I saw him walk in and out of his armors like this

Someones hacking all the fanboy accounts.

Also Reported.

Most of these armours were fodder though.

Could take hits from tanks no problem in IM1...

alot of those designs for Ultron look better then what we got.

see no need to bring Jocasta into the mix since she's essentially Ultron's "bride of Frankenstein" and I doubt Ultron will make a return anytime soon.

Technically she did appear already in avengers 2 or her program at least

Yes, it was. There's no denying it. I really regret watching it.

Iron Man 3 was a fun movie to watch. Hate is way overexaggerated

Nah the hate for that movie is very real. I know, because I have felt it. And still do when I think about it too much.

Its just an example. I was searching a long time trying to find a gif of when Tony walked out of that diner with ptsd where he walked right into his suit.

that Second Ultron and 3rd Witch look amazing.

Elizabeth Olson being breath takingly beautiful certainly doesn't hurt either.

Like to know who decided to go with the one they went for the movie over those ones

i remember seeing some of the concept art for Malekith a while back some of those at least looked like his comic book counterpart.

They certainly made it more snazzy.

He's also done a lot of stuff with just one piece of the armor, like when he's fighting with just one glove, etc.

It was a joke dude.

But for someone who hates the film he sure does praise it's box office numbers a lot.

There are probably a number of factors that went into which ones got picked.

Some of it could be personal preference. For instance we all could agree that some of the concept art is better than what showed up in film but we might disagree on which ones are better or worse.

Another factor could be how they looked transitioning from paper to real life. So they may have looked awesome in concept but looked horrible when built.

Also they may have been too restrictive for the actors or they may have just not looked good on the actors.

In the case of Ultron another factor could have been going with a design that could convey Spader's acting through CGI better.

All I'm trying to say is there could be a number of reasons why a certain design was chosen over another. Even if on paper another design might have looked better.

Finally saw it. Guardians was way better imo. Also looking at the box office it may not beat the Dark Knight Rises which is a slap in the face.

Not sure what articles you're reading, but it's almost certainly going to do better than Dark Knight Rises. It's rise to $250M in 8 days is second only to the first Avengers.

TDKR didn't have 3-d 3 years ago, so it's BO run is more impressive. TA 2 will have a hard time getting to 500 M domestically.
