Wolverine vs. Captain America

Movie versions.

Round 1: First one to score 3 knockdowns wins.
Round 2: First one to score a knockout wins.

Cap has his shield, Logan has his adamantium and claws.

Already been done, but I'll allow it.

No they're not. Besides being more durable and having an enhanced sense of smell he has nothing on Cap. Cap is a better fighter, faster, stronger, and has a more durable and versatile weapon.

No on all those things you listed for cap, wolverine is far better at fighting. Wolverine took loads of arrows to the back in the wolverine film and kept on going, he took bullets to the chest with no healing factor and kept going. Wolverines claws are durable and could go toe to toe with caps shield. Captain America loses this fight, wolverine is far more superior in every way.

Getting knocked out has little to do with bone density or indestructibility. You can get knocked out by having the oxygen cut from your brain, which can be achieved by punching your jaw enough to twist your head, or simply choking you out. Another way is to move your brain around your head to induce the knockout, in which case blunt trauma concussion works. Strong punch or shield to the head will do.

There's some advantage there but very minimal. It's stronger neck muscles and stronger jaw muscles that would make it harder to move.

That would develop by moving much heavier bones?

Cap's superior strength plus Vibranium shield, added to the fact that Wolverine has shown he can be knocked out by far less, means a good blow to the head from Cap and Wolverine is out.

Once knocked out Cap can decide how to dispose of him more permanently.

All Wolverine has to do is lang one hit to win... Cap needs to land several to even have a chance of knocking Wolverine out.

Wolverine wins this.

Nah, look how easily Sabertooth knocked him out in X1. It wasn't anywhere near several hits. And that was without an indestructible weapon. Cap only needs one good hit to the head.

And his shield will protect him from Wolverine's claws.

But don't get me wrong, this will definitely be a good fight. And can go either way.

But look at how Juggernaut couldn't knoc him out despite beating him through a house for a few minutes.
