Mace Windu runs the gauntlet!

Obvoiusly it's not the same canon as the movies or Lucas' script.. if it was.. then we wouldn't be throwing out parts of the book that contradict the movie. It's clearly not the same level of canon.

Point of all this sidetracking was... Mace beat Sidious and overpowered him per Lucas. Sids was trying to kill Mace and failed at doing so.

Stover's interpretation is written in the book which is G-Canon.

Firstly, it's still a lesser form of G canon than the movies, which clearly contradict the novelization in a variety of areas, particularly with spoken dialogue and combat speeds. Secondly, Stover's interpretation quite solidly disproves your hypothesis.

Lucas, for example, admits that Palpatine was feigning/exaggerating weakness after his lightning attack, so clearly, if he intended for the sith lord to have thrown the fight altogether, he would have just said so.

Okay Master Han, who is the strongest sithlord?.

uh...Palpatine.

No, he wouldn't, that was Stover's job to do so.

no it wasn't. Show me the quote from Lucas saying so... Lucas said SIDS TRIES TO KILL MACE WITH HIS LIGHTING. LUCAS had Stover say Sids attacked the Jedi with a fury they'd never seen. These aren't verbs and adjectives to describe soembody not trying to kill somebody. SHIT IN THE DAMN MOVIE BEFORE SIDS FIRES LIGHTING HE SAYS... YOU WILL DIE!!!! Stop trying to peddle your conjecture Intre.. nobody is buying it and you have no proof to stand on. The evidence is clearly on the side of him trying to kill mace.

I honestly don't care about your bullshit.

Did Lucas not have Sids say right before he fired his lighitng.. YOU WILL DIE? Simple question.

🙄

1. That wasn't Stover's job, because nowhere in the RotS novelization does he confirm your pet theory.

2. Why would Lucas reveal Palpatine's faking weakness after the lightning, but state nothing about Palpatine's allegedly throwing the fight?

Face it; Mace Windu defeated Palpatine.

1. Not everything needs to be confirmed, and besides, I have never said it was factual. You can believe otherwise if you want to, sure, but at least come up with a credible argument and not the how-did-Palpatine-know-Mace-wouldn't-kill-him-bullshit.

2. Because he specifically mentions that Palpatine faked weakness after the lightning because he had edited the scene for Anakin's transfer to the dark side.

Okay so, by your levels Windu>Palpatine the most powerful sithlord of all time?!.

No way, Sidious>>>>Windu.

Has Mace ever blitzed Dooku or even defeated the latter? He was already a Master at 44 bby and mastered Vaapad by then.

No to both of your question, though he probably has defeated Dooku before. But Dooku has better feats in general (by a slim margin though).

Windu can clear it.

How the **** is he beating Yoda?

Glad to see you finally admit it's just a theory of yours and not a fact. Concession accepted.

Well, they both have equal skill, so I see them stalemating each other.

But fitness wise I would favor Windu. Yoda has old midget body with hell lot of limitations, while Windu doesn't.

I will reverse it. How the **** is Yoda beating him? 🙂

Not a concession, boy.

Yoda is faster, more skilled, more powerful.

I grow tired of your constant flip flops and shifting of the burden of proof. You've repeatedly posted one liners insinuating that the mere presence of the novelization's account somehow substantiates your claim, because you never feel the need to give any elaboration whatsoever.

You call my question "bullshit", yet you repeatedly fail to address it, flip flopping between self-contradicting responses, from "Palpatine was sooo much faster than Windu he could have stopped him" to "Palpatine had magical foresight allowing him to predict the battle hours in advance".

And furthermore, you fail to understand that YOU have the burden of proof, not me, and I have no need to provide any argument whatsoever until you give us some concrete evidence.

And he never bothered to qualify his "Windu overpowered Palpatine" statement? You're playing mental gymnastics here, because you damn well know that Lucas wouldn't deliberately mislead his audience and fail to point out a very major plot point.
