Actually this couldn've be further from the truth... According to Lucas Yoda and Mace are peers and the only ones who can compete with Sids. Mace was about to beat Sids and have him at his mercy... somethign yoda couldn't achieve (even though he came across as slightly superior). That alone tells us Yoda isn't greater than Windu by a "large" amount as you say.

It's not significant at all.. I would say word to use is.. he's better but not by that much.

Yoda thus believed Mace could beat Sids if he did come out. I believe Mace > Dooku even if by a slight margin... Dooku was able to stalemate Yoda even if Yoda came across looking superior. Thus if Mace is better than Dooku.. It would take even longer for Yoda to beat mace. Those things don't describe a significant seperation there... they are peers with yoda being a little more powerful
