The Official Tier List of Comic Book Ranks For Non-Comic Characters

Started by NotAllThatEvil55 pages

As a giant pony needs to move it, i'll guess its mythological.

I personally think Cole would be around Mid Meta, but I'm not 100% sure how that's classified. Still, Cole McGrath for Mid Meta.

Also, should composites of characters be considered as well? (i.e. Link, Samus, etc.)

Quick question, is the sun Celestia lifting basically a real star or is a more mythological one? If it's the former she should be well above mid herald IMO.

It's a real one as far as I can tell, Nightmare Moon imprisoned her inside of it, and you can't really do that with mythological stars, and telescopes and shit exist in FiM.

All right, I tallied up Wei's votes,

Will save these for later. It's hard to concentrate right now. Going to move on to more detailed ranking.

Characters who have been voted into multiple tiers should be sorted first. So Master Chief, Kenshiro, etc.

Master Chief would be easy Low Meta. He has enhancements and various weapons and equipment, but nothing really beyond that.

I don't know Kenshiro. Lol.

-Asura(EoG)(Asura's wrath) for high Herald.
-Plutonian(Irredeemable) for mid herald
-Kain and Raziel for mid Metahuman
-Invincible(Comic of the same name) for high meta
-The Prince(SoT): high street level
-Lenneth(Valkyrie Profile) low herald

For organization you guys should pick a character, list their feats and whatnot along with vulnerabilities and weaknesses if needed and then everyone votes on where they should be. Everyone can't vote on every character without knowledge of the character in question. Could start at the street level and work up.

I'm seeing a lot of categories that are new to me like Skyfather, etc.

Just out of wild curiosity, how would comic book characters like Odin, Galactus, The Living Tribunal, and The One Above All be placed?

TOAA is Supreme Being, Tribunal is high Abstract, low Abstract for Galactus, Odin for high Skyfather.

I'm pretty sure all the ones you just mentioned would be considered Skyfathers. In fact, I think the term Skyfather comes from a comic Odin showing...or maybe it's from the new gods in DC. Can't quite remember.

Also, what's with this nonsense of Fluttershy at low street? She's at least low meta. Talks down dragons and can break petrification with a look.

Is there a reference chart I can study? I need to familiarize myself with these categories if I want to be of any help.

I'm not saying for EVERY category, rather just the ones I have never been too familiar with.

Skyfather would stop at Universal.

Nah, Galactus, TOAA, and LT are all well above Skyfather.

So do they get a tier of their own, or are they just acknowledged as above tiers in general? Is there an Abstract tier or something?

There is an abstract tier, yes.

Cool beans.

Fluttershy for Low Meta.

Noted, Fluttershy will need to be discussed soon, she's in three tiers now.

Yes, they should, but we'll hold off on that.

alphabetizing the tier list, before it gets too big.
