Therefore, logically, Mangog/Doomsday are speedy.
That is the similarity.
Are there differences? Of course. But to assert there is NO similarity, is incorrect.
I never made any comparison between Mangog and Flash.

Yes. You? I mean I made a topic a while go with DD vs Validus, and people were saying that Val would crush him. I've always thought that Mangog would defeat Val so there's that.
i guess i never really thought about it that much. mangog has been portrayed a little inconsistently since he first appeared, but if we go by his best, i'd say him and hp dd were pretty close. it would take a little research or a bunch of scans of both for me to compare before i formed a more solid opinion. a little surprised people suggested pc val would kill hp dd though.

I feel like I already asked this but what did Doomsday do that puts him on Mangog level? I feel certain Doomsday wouldn't have Odin pissing his pants at the thought of fighting him. He would probably just send Thor to do his dirty work.
Despite being pissed, dude couldn’t defeat jane Thor
Let’s not pretend that his current power is anywhere close to his glory days
Lets hope I’m wrong and by issue 705, Odin does something good

and
Peak DD vs SA Mangog
Peak DD is pretty much his HP incarnations. Current Mangog though beastly I think falls short of peak DD.
Then again u could be saying Current Mango is pretty much SA Mango... Then go ahead make ure argument.
*shrug*
Supposedly. I take statements into consideration, but it's not the be all end all. I like to see feats that back it up. Comics luv to make all kinds of statements to add gravity to the story.
"He's stronger than ever"
"She's faster than me"
"he's more powerful than ever"
"I'm as strong as him"
Blah blah blah
Same with DD. Supposedly he's stronger everytime he gets resurrected. At least I think that's how it goes. But is that always the case?

I think so.
Can't think of him dying to a weaker attack than what he'd previously faced.
Of course, am only counting the 'pure' strains of DD.

To me he seemed more unstoppable in his ancient form than in DoS. And he had some crazy amping ability from the green energy.
Also his later form(w/supes dna) didn't seem like he was more powerful on latter appearances with said form.
Then in rebirth he seemed pretty powerful, but Supes was able to hang. U'd think he would have evolved to be even more powerful by then. Comics can be so inconsistent.

Also, what has Mangog done?He ate the Destroyer when it was powered by a sick Freyja.
Ate Ultimate Mjolnir when it was powered by a dead universe
Anything else?
The same Destroyer that wasn't powered by anything stomped a high Herald and low Herald with ease. Also, I think the shell of the Destroyer stomped Jane. I know Odin resurrected it but I don't think his essense was powering it.
Powered by a dead Universe? I don't get it. War was obviously in the Herald tier with it. Thor was amazed at this Mjlonir power. Where are you going with this?
Mangog stomps.

Which time? Also, even without it being powered by anything, it was recently said that the Destroyer is more powerful than ever.
Also the statement about fire in the destroyer did not really say it was more powerful. It was that it seemed to hurt the person or persons who were inhabiting it more than it usually did. Notice the pile of comatose bodies.
