Terminator: Genysis

If the rights revert to Cameron I doubt he'll be interested in producing, forget about him writing or directing given his Avatar occupations

He's probably moved on just like with George Lucas has moved on from Star Wars.

Yeah but Lucas gave us 2 Trilogies. So would have been nice if Cameron gave us another story in the franchise. Then after that only sell Tv rights to others for the fans who crave more.

I also doubt he'll ever direct another terminator film.

I hope Cameron hires another talented director and at least produces new Terminator material. That'd be good enough.

Just saw it and I actually liked it. Didn't love it but it wasn't the disaster I expected. Arnold Schwarzenegger is awesome as always, Jai Courtney was weak as Kyle Reese, Khaleesi seemed out of place as Sarah Connor but wasn't terrible.

Saw it today. Liked it, despite the convoluted, time-travel story element, and Courtney's underwhelming Reese. It had some cool scenes all its own; and imho, Clarke is a hotter SC.

Jai Courtney was weak in the film but I generally hate this actor. I'm appalled he seems like he is in everything nowadays as well.

Tch, no one can top the original Kyle Reese! Hyper-alloy combat chassis what? Kyle don't need any of that.

The only role I really liked of Jai Courtney's was his Spartacus role. I loved him in that series. In general though he's not that great.

Finally saw this movie and I don't see what all the hate is about. The film was very enjoyable. Paid homage to the original 2 films and pretty much flipped the bird to the two ass films.

Arnold was great, Emilia was great, and I know I'm gonna get shit for this, but Jai was was not bad at all. He was weaker than the others but not to the extent that some are blasting him for.

The plot was pretty solid and the action was good. IMO not as good as T1 or T2 but it goes well with them as a trilogy.

T2 will never happen again, its just not replicable, the movie was perfect, however this movie was as close as we ever going to get.

He was also decent in The Water Diviner

feels like he's the hot thing now and Hollywood is just putting him in anything, Like what happen with Sam Worthington.

Haters going to hate. Film was very enjoyable but some people just don't seem to give a shit about the terminator series in this country anymore despite this film being pretty damn fun.

Yeah and almost everyone flocks to go and see the new Magic Mike movie.

It's not doing well because the Franchise has been on a downward spiral since T3. And this new ne has done nothing to change people's minds.

Unlike Jurassic World, which has turned the Jurassic Park franchise around again after 2 poorly received sequels.

Man, if this ever gets a sequel, I'd love to see old Arnold with the
Spoiler:
T-1000 upgrade
he got in action.

I get why people may have not liked it though, but I really enjoyed it for all your mentioned reasons and more.

I think the

Spoiler:
upgrade
would be an excuse to use a different actor if they make any more.

But yeah this movie got way more hate than it deserved imo
