Batman's only chance in this is through cheating. Thats it. Straight up fight, both come onto the field with their tech, he gets crushed.
And his winning would be inadmissible under forum rules, so he would essentially forfeit the match.
But at least he'd be able to walk out unassisted.

When you have the writers wanking the hell out of them (especially Morrison, but others do it too), and Batman turns into some deus ex machina that enables him to hang with a team of heralds...why not?
I mean, for example, you have him sparring on a regular basis with Wonder Woman. I don't care how much she holds back, she can trade blows with a pissed Supes. How is sparring with a mere human meant to help her train?? Meltzer had Ollie remark that JLA apartments have 'Thanagarian, Martian, Apokoliptian, and Kryptonian technology. Plus the really scary crap Bruce invented.' Really??
Batman is the most PIS-led character, always has been. All they've done is taken the campy Bat Shark Repellent Adam West Batman and made him darker. Which is why Batman with prep becomes such a weird character in forum fights.
Batman wins. How? Because he has a plan. That is how its been sold to comic readers for decades now. He is the comic writer in story form. If Odekhan was writing a scenario? Batman pulls something out - it turns out that with prep, he went to get a magic spell from Zatanna which cloaked him and enabled him to infiltrate Tony's workshop and sabotage him. Or some crap like that. And it would work, because Flash has his speed, Superman his cape, Aquaman his army...and Batman has his PIS. He's there to showcase how amazingly awesome and convoluted the writers can be.
Tonys arrogance isn't applicable as a weakness, im sorry that's just reaching too far, you're talking about a character using willfull ignorance in the preparation for a fight.
"Lets see, ahh this Batman guy, oh wow, he's smart enough and has the means to defeat beings as powerful as Thor and Sentry (superman/GL), i'll just go ahead and treat him like any old chump then.
People are acting like Tony won't simply ask, "whos the most powerful being batman has defeated?" and then aim to be stronger and more versatile than that, which is what ANYONE IN THE WORLD would do, let alone a genius for **** sake.

Let's see, ooh this Tony Stark has created so many armours, hmm, he's even created ones to take on fundamental forces of the Universe, granted, it didn't destroy it but it at least made a dent in it.....hmm, yes, I will go up and try and fight him head to head and see who creates a better armour.
