I know you won't read this with any kind of an open mind. You've proved you don't have one over many years. Try thinking before you post. You may actually add something meaningful to a discussion.

They make a big deal out of the word "living". As if all other gods are dead. This distinction is delusion. They even try to "hurt my feelings" by telling me that Buddha is dead. 😂 They have no idea what a Buddha is. It is similar to "Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living."

Also, that phrase exists to differentiate YHWH from other gods of the time.

It was like the other guys had gods with max stats.

Then here come the Jews with their God. Their God didn't have maxed stats: he had infinite stats in all categories. The Hebrew's logic was, "Hey, no one will want to PvP our God if we use these hacks."

Just ask the former people of Jericho about YHWH. 😐

Edit - There is a chart somewhere that compared the "God" or "Gods" of various religions and it was quite clear that the Ancient Jews' God was just better in all stats. If you find it, post it. I could not find it. The first time I read that chat, I lol'd.

There's a wonderful parallel (I'm gettin' serious for a second).

The Elves are the Nephilim. The humans are the Jews. God created the Nephilim (Angels) first. Then He created the humans. Eru created the Elves first then he created the humans.

Elves are Nephilim. AHA!

But I think a better case could be made that Tolkein meant for the Ainur to be the Angels. But I would argue that the Ainur or just Archangels and the elves are the "lesser-lesser" angels.
