Well, Ewan's greatest performances were Trainspotting and Shallow Grave. Maybe also Moulin Rouge. And I liked him Polanski's Ghost Writer.

Poor Natalie... she's just not a very enigmatic actrice.

Sure he had good fighting skills but he never had that mystical allure about him that other Jedis did.
I honestly can't recall any scene where his persona stood out from the rest of the cast. He lacked that authoritative quality that Alec Guiness possessed.

Well it made $25mill worldwide in the last week, so it has to have legs and keep making that amount week by week for a while tbh. Might even have to continue making some money after BvS is out.

It's possible IMO but not if it keeps dropping like a normal blockbuster. It will need to have strong legs and keep making like $15-20mill a week for a while.

Yeah, I know you included the weekend. I was pointing out a trend that box office is not going down, even went up a tad. So that would be a argument to say it'll beat Titanic.

I doubt Avatar will be beat.

It's only got less than 2 weeks left here for showings.
I guess it's run its course here.

Yes if it keeps making the same for the next several weeks, then it will beat Titanic. But if it's starts dropping from next week then it won't, which is why it's fun to speculate at this point.

Whereas there's nothing left to speculate about Avatar's box office. That will remain No. 1.

Wish it wasn't, the only reason it's no.1 is cuz the 3D effects in it were amazing. The story was mediocre at best. But I guess that doesn't matter.

^ Well visuals do enhance entertainment value on the big screen. Might be part of the reason many people went to watch TPM again and again back in 1999, but don't seem to like it now.

Shame I never saw Avatar in 3d though.

Still the best 3D movie ever, if you ask me. Not a great story, but as a 3D movie quite the movie experience.

Well, suppose so. I had expected it to pass Titanic. It'll be close though. Deadpool and KungFU Panda 3 are dropping box office wise. So who knows...

But yeah, no. 3 will prolly be it. Guess they made a buck or two anyway.

The other thing is it will be a long long time before anyone knocks it off the no.3 spot.
