Nice knowing you Harry Potter.

Fantastic teaser. Abrams you've probably done it again. Finally, I might see a Sith lord worthy of respect. Love the new saber.

Lol I agree, but don't get your hopes up about the Sith Lord, Luke is still around.

It better not be that weakling.

Force potential of the chosen one to hopefully be finally shown. Luke is going to wreck ****ers

We will have a year to speculate. I always thought luke Skywalker was a terrible character.

I like how he was in Rotj, more reserved and patient.

Millennium Falcon scene, stablized:

I got goosebumps.

So.Much.HYPE.

HYPE will murder me.

Well his Dad was technically the Chosen One. But Yeah, Luke did inherit most his potential, but unlike his Dad didn't get screwed up into an 80% Cyborg. So he should be more powerful than Yoda or Sidious ever were.

The only factor that might drag him down a little is that he's basically self taught, but he's had enough years now to more than compensate for that.

Which has nothing to do with his Force Potential.

But FYI Luke Journey was the classic Hero's Journey. So his character arc at least is the quintessential hero's one, which many other stories have tried to follow over the years.

Why the focus on Luke?
I mean is JJ really relying on an old Mark Hamil to carry part of the trilogy?

Well he did carry the OT.

In any case It's the Nostalgia factor having Luke and Han Solo play major parts in this. Well at least in Ep. 7. I'm sure their roles will decrease as the Trilogy goes forward.

Luke will likely be the Old Ben/Yoda of this trilogy. Han Solo the Qui-Gon: As in probably a Major (if not The Main) role in the first one but then possibly absent for the rest of the Trilogy.

I do not care as I deem him a shitty character. I get the whole entire heroic progression thing. He's just a shitty hero imo.

Voldemort is a shitty character.

Fanboys are up in arms about the cross bar on the Sith's light saber.

What say you fgts?

It's pretty stupid. But I'll have to see it in action before I can make a real judgement on it.

Maybe this saber will be used with a different style of light saber combat.

Wow.
