still doesn't explain why the new chewie looks younger than both the previous trilogies

Chewie doesn't have grey hairs after 20 years because he's a ****ing alien. Not really sure why this even begs a question. .

edit- He doesn't look younger than his previous appearance to me. Looks about the same.

So you're saying there's 2 versions of every race and species in the galaxy(EU and Movie/Tv show only) and there's different rules for each of them? Like behavioral tendencies, natural abilities(like Kiffar having Psychometry), and physical traits(Twi'lek having head tails?)

And he probably looks better because it's been a decade since Revenge of the Sith came out. Technology and costume design have grown in the past 10 years, just like the past 10 years before that.

I said while yes, the EU stories like Fate of the Jedi and Legacy of the Force were scrapped, that didn't change the basic universal info. Like species biology(wookiees living as long as they do or growling and roaring because they can't speak Basic), or planet location (there's 5 planets in the Corellian star system, Coruscant is one of the Core Worlds, etc...)

You said it still sounds like EU info, which makes no sense. Info like that wouldn't differentiate between EU and Nu-Wars canon. So a Wookiee wouldn't be able to live for x number of years in the EU, then only for y number of years in the Nu-Wars. Zabrak wouldn't have horns in the EU, and then no horns in the Nu-Wars. Etc...

That shot of the x-wing and star destroyer were just screaming 'SIG' to me 😐

Chewie probably should have had some grey hairs. He has after all been around since the PT. But hey maybe he dyes his hair, so who cares.

Speaking of Chewie looking younger, does it bother anyone that even in a hyper advanced society like the GFFA, humans still age and die at pretty much the same rate we do here? Like, why did they have to set Episode VII exactly thirty years after ROTJ? Couldn't it have been, say, 100 years into the future? The transhumanist in me weeps.

I'd hate to be that guy but are midichlorians still going to be a thing in the Star Wars universe?

Solid trailer. THe best parts were the fallen Star Destroyer and teh cut to the X-Wings over the water. I don't know why people are calling it "mind-blowing" though. It looks like Star Wars. What the hell did they expect?
