Why lol

It's good to see lots more discussion here on KMC. I wish the Star Wars forums would get more activity though.

Hoping that Kylo is more than a 1 movie villain. He should have his own arc like Vader did.

You need to realize you're the one acting childish and that you're not someone anyone is scared of. Take your lumps like a man and quit being so sensitive.

You're someone incapable of even using a caps lock so please take your own advice. Ares mocked you and you threw a tantrum. I don't read alleged script spoilers but I laughed at how you got crazy. That's all.

Now relax me from now on just don't overreact when someone else mocks you like ares did.

i don't like the news that Colin Trevorrow is directing episode 9. It just feels reactionary to the success of Jurassic World, which was an okay movie to begin with. Nothing special about the news.

Caps lock isn't for normal typing, FYI. You're talking about the Shift Key.

Either because he doesn't like the idea of a good Stormtrooper becoming a Jedi apprentice.

Or...

because he's racist.

Does sort of seem like that yeah. But then it's better than Gareth Edwards (Rogue One director) who didn't even do a good job with Godzilla IMO.

Tbh, all the Star Wars directors with the exception of jj Abrams and lord/miller have been disappointing choices. I felt Rian Johnson was a weak choice, good riddance Josh Trank, Gareth Edwards was meh, now Colin Trevorrow is also meh.

Godzilla looked great from top to bottom. It's the story that needed work.

The story was fine, it was alot like the old Godzilla Verses movies

as for Rian Johnson he's only done good movie, Looper.

Oh I don't mind Rian Johnson, because I feel Looper (whether you enjoyed it or not) was directed really really well. That scene when you realize they're cutting up that guy's "younger self" by seeing his older self's limbs disappearing was brilliant.

But yeah Gareth Edward's directing of Godzilla was meh. I do feel Colin Treverrow did a much better job of directing Jurassic World. That last dino vs dino fight was done really well.

And yes, the less said about Josh Trank the better.

Surprisingly after a lot of persuasion my girlfriend has said she'll see this with me, can't wait

I often say caps lock and I find it a pet peeve when someone doesn't use that.

The other director choices are ok to me. I wasn't blown away by Godzilla or Jurassic World but I feel they will do a good job nonetheless. I'm still annoyed Abrams only did this one but at least he's getting the ball rolling. Hopefully the rest follow his lead.

Godzilla was boring and the characters were also very dull. I do agree that the special effects were top-notch, though.

The only character that had any dimension was Bryan Cranston's who died early on. Cranston has even said that was a big mistake in the plot, whether he or someone else played the character.

I don't really worry about special effects when it comes to Lucasfilm.

👆 Cranston was wasted as was his character.

Haha, yeah, good point.
