Yeah, and the bottom line is - the answer really is a simple no. I mean, it's not even close. You remember how, in For Tomorrow, Brian Azzarello said that Superman transverses galaxies at supersonic speed? It's literally like that.
Clearly Superman was only meant to be going supersonic speeds then, regardless of feat.
At that rate, it would take in the ballpark of something like 150 billion years to cross the Milky Way.
Originally posted by h1a8Batman has dodged bullets and a lot faster, so I guess he has supersonic or faster reaction speed huh??
Also the thermal radiation moves at the speed of light.
Flash had to move many times faster than light to save 500,000 people before they were hit with the thermal radiation.Basically, Carver and JBL are saying that if a character WAS SHOWN ON PANEL moving faster than a supersonic bullet but the writer says only they were going 30mph then we should accept that they only went 30mph but somehow ran faster than a supersonic bullet?

It's fast as shit.
Most certainly not.
Crossing a couple of galaxies in a quarter of a second is extremely slow for a Flash.
A slug literally compares better to Usain Bolt than that feat compares to Flash's best.
Even low ranking Green Lanterns regularly patrol from the very fringes of DC's universe to the center (Oa).

Fist of all, he said nothing about a "couple" of galaxies. He travelled billions of light years a blink and wasn't the least bit fatigued. Don't bee foolish and try to convince anyone that's slow. As far as Flash, his speed isn't enough for him to dominate his own speed routes, so give me a break.

Thank you. And Gladstone and Surfer don't need to borrow speed, which is a retarded concept.

It's a lot worse than being faster than instant teleportation, or a time stop, or even a time loop (final crisis), or being faster than people who regularly cross the length of the DC universe in reasonable time.

Where did you get billions of light years from? You pulled that from your ass.
Galaxies are hundreds of thousands to at most a couple of million light years in diameter
He was stated to 'cross entire galaxies in the blink of an eye'. So, yeah, 2 is the most you can assume until specified. Sorry. Standard procedure in feat calculations, not to mention basic language parsing.
It's a great feat, but nowhere close to the best.
