I'm not begging.
We debate.
I make a statement, I back it up with scans.

This entire thread, actually, only really has PG posting scans for Surfer. And even he acknowledged that Flash's feat is better, based on his misreading of 'microseconds'.
You saying that this thread holds the speed feats for Surfer....well, there aren't any, that's the problem. Literally, no one has really posted scans of Surfer's speed feats. And you attempting to pass the buck by telling me to look in the thread (when I have been here since page 1, lol), is...kinda funny.
Because I have. And there are none.

There are no calculations in the book. If there are, produce then on the form of scans. You vision is being blocked by Kal's dick hairs.
You certainly seemed fit to make up claims like 'billions of lightyears' that don't exist on the page, but have a problem with using figures given directly to us on the pages?
Do you not understand Distance/Time as an equation? Because its as simple and intuitive as that. No advance calc required.
Originally posted by CosmicCometWhat vet is saying is the writer of the story is not concerned about math, calculations, time or distance. The writer said the feat was performed under light speed period. If the writer wanted it faster, he would have stated it far faster instead of sub-light.

The writer is flat out wrong, and thus his declaration is pointless.
The feat is completely impossible to do at 99% lightspeed given the figures we are given. It would take him nearly 2 minutes to evacuate everyone at those speeds.
Far too slow, everyone would be ashes.
At best, he carried the people to the hilltop at 99% lightspeed going by the wording. --And if we took that meaning that would naturally mean he would have to be going vastly faster when going in and searching.

Except he gave things like the time and distance, which we cannot just dismiss, like you are.
I am not dismissing the under light speed, either.
Both statements can be taken together. Which gives the result you don't want, hence the ignoring of the first statement.

Here you go.In 1 picosecond, it travels way further than what a light beam would travel.
Why did you ask about 13:57, btw, carver?
Edit: @BAV: Again, I ask, without insults - Surfer's best speed feat, please?
I'm looking for the scan again so I can explain why I asked.

Except you did not such thing, even when I asked you to. Once again for even the most jaded Superman fans (that includes you) there are no math calculations in the comic, therefore you can't insert than to serve your purposes. Even Pr gets this.
