Now, whatever speculation it may be, such as that Surfer slowed down at the end to grab the gauntlet [thus Cap reacting to Surfer and attacking Thanos] or whatnot, we can actually see panels as Surfer flies, like you said, in which things change - and Captain America doesn't change his expression/body in microseconds.

This may have been mentioned before, but unfortunately the feat kinda disqualifies itself because he had to use a 'cheat'.
He opened up a warp hole.
Regardless, its still not anywhere close to running to the source wall in moments, being fast enough to ignore a time loop that even Green Lantern level flightspeed couldn't ignore, or running to the end of time itself,

Wally can open up portals, too. Difference is: his portals allow him to 'run' to any point in time and space -- even the end of the universe if he so chooses... Hell, he can cross-over into different dimensions/realities as well. 🙂

Why does it even matter if Wally is faster than Surfer (which he is)? Surfer can do a hundred things Wally can't, but that's not enough, apparently.
Yeah, you can see Cap moving his entire body/face in the time it takes Surfer to cross 1 light year.
A beastly feat, like Galan said. But it doesn't stack up to Wally's.
