When you're dealing with a quantum field or physical laws that warps matter, energy, and spacetime in ways that none of our nomological physical laws/quantum fields do, whether it is called "wizardry", "intrinistic fields", "The Force", "Power Cosmic", etc., it's all technically "magic", because "Magic", in it's basest definition, is "the science of alternate physical laws". There's really no difference between Surfer's Power Cosmic, Harry's Wand, or, Pinhead's chains (in terms of the nature of their powers, not power levels). It is all an alternative physical law affecting matter and energy.
Not to mention that magic is concurrently portrayed along with advanced science/technology in a number of sci-fi media, and often times both the tech and magic can achieve similar effects, with magic being still unexplained as opposed to the sciency stuff.

Not really. Taking part in a discussion on discussion forum isn't called "wasting your time". It's called taking part in a discussion.
Only in your wet dreams, bro. Relying on no-limits-fallacies, outlandish claims, dumb non-sequiters("It's Magic!"😉 and outright lies isn't regarded as destroying someone in a debate, unless you're a creationist piece of shit like Ray Comfort.
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
I am guessing you want to take this to the PMs. In which case, you're so f*cking predictable.
You're backing down already? I was expecting another 5 pages of back and forth before you conceded like a good little grub. I have to admit, you've become easier to beat down, ddm.
Don't flatter yourself. We both know that that isn't the only segment of this discussion wherein you were owned like the jackass you are.
I wonder what repeating the same irony-laced tirades actually does for you? Apart from soothing the bruised ego after your latest bout of utter humiliation.

Its pretty simple fight considering a tachyon burst is what separated SS from his board, Manhattans own power that wiped out all the major cities created a Tachyon burst that blocked his precognition of his future as he stated.
He would hit surfer with one of his blasts and thus separating him from the board and removing his power and it's pretty game over for SS from this point on.

Excellent points. I feel dumb for not having thought of it.
Also, pretty weird that both of them have the same weakness...

It was a kind of a two way street for him tbh, as his own power generated it, but hindered his precognition of his future when used on a massive scale as shown.
But the fact that he could create a Tachyon burst without relying on a nuclear weapon is pretty sick.

It was never, not even once hinted that the tech which Jon was working on had something to do with tachyons.
Jon doesn't use tachyons in character either. And he wouldn't possibly know that it's the Surfer's weakness.

It not really a way to look at it. That is the definition of the word and deals usually with the supernatural. Now in relation to your perspective on the definition, yes I agree that unknowns in science can also be viewed as magic but that does not make it so.
I am not limiting magic to the mere unexplained theorems we currently have. It could be different physical laws entirely, such as HP magic, which amongst other blatantly contradicts the Conservation of Energy law, and is unlike anything any credible scientist on Earth ever proposed. But under that same token, so does Jean Grey. Authors may call their "magic" wizardry, superpowers, divinity, whatever, but in objective reality, "magic" is an umbrella term for alternate physical laws which produce physical effects.

No it is not. I really do not know why you are finding this so hard to understand. You keep injecting you own theories into the definition. This view you keep promoting is one view of magic when used in connection to science and is used in certain fictional universes.
However magic is much broader. In Non-fiction and Fiction magic is commonly associated not with alternate physical laws but non-physical laws. It does not have physical or scientific explanation becomes it comes from a non-physical source.

Translation of your post: "I'm still buttmad so I'll make something up in the hopes it sticks."
When has making up lies about me EVER worked? You'd think an adult would realize that same tactic, since it has failed every time attempted, is useless and cease to try it. 🙂
