Ok, this is kind of ridiculous. If Thanos would be in the DC universe he would receive the Darkseid treatment sooner or later from Superman. This is not big news, people who don't know this, or doubt this, honestly, no offense but that is how DC comics works and worked since decades. So yes he is special in that regard.

DS never did. So Batman might outsmart Thanus in a DC comic but noit overpower him with his physical attributes. That's what it tells me.

No, you missed the point. Superman has a unique power, you call pis because you don't like him others call it being an icon "the one everyone else is measured against, he is a nexus being from a nexus world in comics and everything comes from superman, in real life he defines the superhero in comics, not a fanbased tier but what it is to be a hero, safe the day. It's his power that was given to him through rl by his iconic status and fame an no other herald or hero has this.
I can't explain it clearer than this. Or simply put, it's a comic, deal with it. 😛

Good thing this is a forum fight. Thanos would have a problem if Superman decided to use his speed. That would be the toughest fight of his life.

How is that possible given Superman's feats against powerful telepaths?
Plus Superman's speed would prevent such attempts. Thanos needs time to activate that effect. 1 second is far too long for Superman, and that's assuming the attack will work.

Thanos is not just a telepath, he can bend the natural laws with mysticism as well. His form of TP isn't the run of the mill type, it will penetrate Superman's psyche, and reduce him to a meat puppet. The idea that you ask how Thanos would be able to do this to him, is you ignoring what he already did on panel, and that was him subduing Galactus, a being that Professor Xavier could not contact on this level, if Galactus does not want to be contacted. So what, Superman has greater psi defenses than Galactus? Thanos is not just a cosmic being, he is also a magical/metaphysical creature as well. He's the Avatar of Death.

The idea that Thanos can also take his hits are proven as well, as he was able to take hits from Odin. Galactus didn't allow Thanos into his mind, Thanos had help from Moondragon to stabilize the connection, but once he was in his mind, he was able to profoundly effect Galactus. This is far more than enough to take Superman's mind over. Grodd has effected Superman's mind, so you need to stop lying, and pretending like Superman is immune to this type of attack.
Odin waved at the Surfer, but he had it out with Thanos. Superman was band handed into the moon, and unable to continue. There is a large difference in the amount of damage that Thanos can take and Superman can take. Or was your version of Superman jobbing again? He wanted to be hit?

Yeah, I know but this is the case with almost all debates here 😉. Yes it does or better said comics, this here is just for the lulz of fans like us, there are no tiers, no herald level beings in dc. The writers don't give a damn about who would win in our opinion. Anyway.
I think in a neutral Universe, Superman should still retain his Superman always safes the day except when he doesn't superpower. Means, for him it's possible to go trans and hang out with guys he shouldn't be able to.

I don't take those discussions personally or serious, it's fun, repeating our own opinions without considering the others seriously is what the internet is all about after all^^. I don't even read comics since some months, maybe some scans but I stopped, don't even know why, became boring kind of. I am just going by guts and my own common sense (something everyone thinks he has and what we all share, we call it here bias). 🙂
I like Hulk but Mags, Logan are cooler in my book. Sometimes it's hard to like Hulk or Supes if people like me or my bud Carv are pushing them so hard. Maybe that'S what fans do because they know "hey if I can't make him love my char as much as i do at least i can make them hate him, that way they aknownledge him too and this is also "fame" ".
