Impossible. The foundry wouldn't be enough to support them. A strike team was enough clear it and kill Revan after. Revan himself solo'ed it as well.
How would they break through the Empire's defenses? Vitiate's empire had much more powerful force users in general and the dark council would be active in the war too. Vitiate did not attend the wars himself but if they were to come to his capital planet and threaten his plans, he would face Revan and destroy him.
Dread Masters would destroy the minds of Revan's armies. How would they defend against them?
Also I remember Kreia saying something about how the sith of the known galaxy during her era was a feeble reflection of the true sith empire.

Yeah I doubt that. The Dread Masters may be able to turn the tide of battles, but they cannot win an entire war. With a few years of prep Revan's infinite armada would have stomped the Sith Empire, especially with all the Republic's resources and shipyards ON TOP of the Star Forge? +The Galaxy rallying behind a beloved charismatic leader like Revan. GG Vitiate. Droumund Kaas would be BDZ'd in a year.

They can't win the war, but they can neutralize the fleet Revan is in, allowing Vitiate to get to him and conquer.
I downloaded the Dark Empire miniseries and the back-pages, which gave more info to the characters like Palpatine, it said that Palpatine's ultimate plan was eventually turning the entire Galaxy into a dark-side nexus like what he did to Byss, slowly consuming the life-energies of the Galaxy but not completely, instead letting it rejuvenate itself and then continue the process so he doesn't completely kill the entire Galaxy. He then was going to eventually go and invade other Galaxies and pretty much do the exact same thing.

Some DE additional book (I think the sourcebook) says that Palpatine planned to have inferior dark side disciples to drain their surroundings and higher dark siders would drain them until Sidious drained the very top force users in his new empire. He was basically planning on draining all life through his servants.
I can't recall where it was but iirc, Tempest posted it like 2 years ago.
