Still a lot of marketing's in the name. Captain America as a name doesn't have the same goodwill as the names Iron Man or Avengers IMO. Could have simply called it "Marvel's Civil War"..
Because let's be honest it's a Marvel event film more than it is a pure Cap film.

Spider-Man's role wasn't that small tbh. He got as big a role as Ant-Man tbh, whose been marketed way more. He even gets a spot in the poster.
But yeah I think people will be surprised by how much Spider-Man was in it, and be raving about how good he was which will help word of mouth.
