Untrue. If the film stinks I'll say so. I liked the Nolan films so this idea I hate on anything DC related is a lie. I didn't like mos and this seems to set the same tone fro the same director. You loved man of steel so of course you're excited.

More or less agree. I DON'T care for the dark setting of the DCU at all. It's so dark that some genius said, "Hey, Let's make the colors dull and dark too, just like our tone!"

Look, I get it, the Nolan films were a smashing success. But WB thinking that that's the only way they can make money is stupid. The JLA, if it does go lighter, now can't stray too far from this tone or else it won't work. DC has kinda shot themselves in the foot imo. I thought MoS was okay. Didn't like it, didn't hate it. I'm not really that excited for BvS mostly because the tone and Luthor/DD look to be horrible.

Like I've said before I like dark movies, even more so that light heated ones.
But If done right.
DC/WB seem to not get a grasp of how to do this. And they do it for the wrong characters.
For Batman , that shit is awesome.
But then you have then totally missing the point with others characters. For example DCU's version of Aquaman. Pretty much, "let's be as fuqing edgy as possible."
It's like they are trying so hard to make these characters "cool". Like they are ashamed of the source martial. Now Aquaman looks like king edge lord. Dark, brooding, tattoos (because that screams bad ass right?), scowl, Rob zombie mixed with Kal Drogo.

That's what bothers me. Not the dark tone.

Well Justice League will have a "lighter" tone. But BvS should have a darker tone IMO, given the concept and given its 50% Batman.

The mistake they've made is making MOS dark and gritty, so now it seems like that's all they do. But BvS is doing right having a darker tone IMO.

If anyone read the Miller's 'Batman:The Dark Knight Returns' and/or watched the animated films, "dark and gritty" is what those were all about and the plot of this film is partially based off aspects of that.

Yeah, likebthe new fantastic 4btried to make the team cooler and edgier. But they come out lame. I am really surprised Aquaman hasnt been made a black guy with swag

So you agree if it's based on that it should be dark right?

Batman was Brutal in that. Not to mention Doomsday stories are usually pretty Grimm too.

Playa is trying to jump on the bandwagon. It's despicable due to all his anti marvel bs.

Only as it pertains to Batman.. Supes, Diana, Aquaman, etc should not be dark

Yes Bruce was....

Yes they are but Domsday's best story was obviously when he killed Supes, however I would think that that won't happen next Friday

Well Aquaman only has a cameo. And WW a small role.

The film has to choose a tone IMO. Can't just do a half dark tone for Bats and half light tone for Supes.

The dark tone that Man of Steel chose was silly and here it continues. For Dc's sake hopefully Batman can save Superman who is Deadpool's ***** at the box office.
