Captain America: Civil War

Is it just me or is the Civil War hype much greater than BvS hype only two weeks before the release of the latter

Spoiler:
again...

CW has more in competition in May than Star Wars in December. X-men and Alice are going to cut its legs off.

Still going to be big though.

I don't even know what Alice is.

Anyone who's going to see Xmen is going to see CW.

Some damn film that made over a billion. Still shocking it made that much.

It made so much as it was riding the 3D hype. It was pretty much the second major blockbuster with 3D. Plus Depp was far bigger back then.

I doubt the second will make nearly as much.

With that said, CW likely isn't beating SW7's OW or WW total and certainly isn't touching it's domestic haul. That film was pretty much the perfect storm. For what it's worth, SW8 isn't touching those milestones either.

I'm thinking IW2 is going to be massive. Spidey plus the original team?

Yeah ****ing huge.

They just released the second trailer for their film and it's way better than the last trailer for Batman v. Superman.

What movie will make your money do you think?
I do not think either will make me money tbh.

👆

The doomsday reveal trailer was shit.

Read one rumor what if Daniel Bruhl is actually Red Skull and Marvel has said Baron Zemo just to throw a curveball.

Another rumour is that this Bucky is actually a clone...

That would be a problem. They'll watch X-Men instead of going to watch CW again.

That being said, I've noticed X-Men tends to attract a slightly different audience. Either way it's competition.

Spidey dies in this. So does Cap.

Spidey would kick the shit out of Batman.

Watching the new trailer again I have to say that with the addition of Spider-Man this film could do Avengers numbers.

He will help for sure. But feel like he'll only have a very small role in this, so his contribution may be minimal for this one. Hence why they've marketed him so late, and even then we were just teased of his presence in this.

Well we do know Spider-Man is on team Iron Man at one point in the movie, so he should get a good enough amount of screen time for audiences to gauge how much they like him

So I noticed in the trailer that while General Ross was going over the mass destruction that the Avengers are capable of conveniently left out the part where a nuke was launched at New York. Just thought it was odd.
