Here's a thought: Maybe all the sources are right? The Exile creates her own Wound but she still echo's with Malachor and the pain and death there since it's so intimately tied to her. The destruction still "caused" the wound.

So my theory that the Exile amp'd via resonating with Malachor is further supported.

It's actually somewhat interesting, though. Perhaps the closer she is to Malachor the stronger she becomes...

You can't become a damn wound by severing yourself. That's the dumbest shit I have ever heard. I am siding with Council and Atris on this.

That whole wound concept is a contradiction to how the force works in the living.

Wounds are stupid.

She was healed through her Force bond with Kreia. The Kotor CG reveals that when they met they created a vergence in the Force that reconnects them to it.

That's because the void was filled by the power of those she was leeching from.

If the sever force was so intense it reached wound level, which destroys midichlorian, you could get every Jedi healer ever and Force bond it wouldn't do shit.

I'm pretty sure at first she was just leeching off of Kreia' power, then others. Over time though her natural connection was repaired. Nothing suggests its impossible to heal a wound after all.

The power has nothing to go back into though, if you are implying a sever force on a wound caliber. All the midichlorians would be already gone, and she can't just produce new ones to my knowledge.

Now that I think about it, pretty much every Light Side major choice in the game talks about you being healed and the connection being reestablished.

Sever force doesn't kill Midichlorians dude lmao.

Severing herself from the Force isn't why she became a wound, by the way--It's how she survived the process.
