I think Master Roshi have a very good chance of killing Raditz with his kamehameha, because is implied that he could kill Kid Goku Ozaruu (close to Raditz power level).

Goku monkey form wasn't close to Raditz in power. Remember, during that time, Goku was at the minimum PL 10 to 20. His ape form wasn't close to Raditz in power. Nothing in DB was.

exactly he did that so he wouldnt get hit directly by goku's ki

listen if that attack was no threat to frieza he wouldnt have done what he did to lessen the impact.... cmon now lets use our brains

So you're saying after the explosion, ya know, the one that was right in front of his face, are you telling me that it didn't hit him? Is this what you are saying? Doesn't matter if the attack rammed him in the chest or not...it's the explosion we are questioning. Again, was he hit by the attack?

The blast would've pushed him out of orbit if it he didn't stop it. Kinda like it did to Vegeta during the Saiyan saga. Him detonating it has NOTHING to do with him not tanking the attack. I can understand it he shielded himself but he didn't. The blast went off "in his face". It's obvious the blast went off in his face. Look at it. Then his body is smoking afterwards with blast marks on it. Get over it, he was hit and he tanked it.

Back on topic, since we have people that has withstood planetary attacks, that pretty much answer the question at hand.

Nope. Goku's power was north of 100 during his fight with Roshi

No, kid Goku was stronger in that time. So, if his power was like 100-130, YES, he would be stronger than Raditz.

Then, Roshi charged kamehameha > Kid Goku Ozaruu and Raditz.

Let's use your way then (and my bad, it was times 4 when he used it against Vegeta, not 3). Vegeta is hit dead on with Goku's planet busting blast, this is what Yungz is asking for but here, the blast doesn't explode. Did Vegeta tank a planet busting attack Yungz?

His power level wasn't 100 and the ape doesn't amp you a 100 folds. Roshi wasn't even fighting Goku at full power and he stomped him.

Per the Daizenshuu #7, Goku's PL during the 21st WMAT=180. Tack on the 10x Oozaru multiplier, and that gives him a PL of 1,800. Raditz's PL was between 1,200-1,500 depending on the source you go by.

Either way, Oozaru-Goku would've possessed the higher PL.

a.) Roshi was more experienced, and thus, had better technique.
b.) Goku was hungry, and that hunger weakened him.
