That's filler from the anime. But I guess you need to use whatever you can since Goku stands no chance here. Also as you've stated Buuhan is several leagues above Goku so why use him as a reference?

Seen Superman fight against and lose to beings that Goku would trash in a couple of panels, with ease. I'm talking about Black hair Goku. Fts are all nice and dandy. Hulk fts, Superman fts, Thor fts, hell, even Colossus strength showings but sometimes you have to look past that. Look at their fights and looking at that, I'm favoring Goku for the overwhelming majority.

His average showings, not his low ends. Goku on average is a monster. Superman is a monster as well but I don't think he is on average, portrayed as powerful as Goku.
