Except resisting illusions is done through mental fortitude alone, and thus resisting Essence Transfer or mind domination techniques is a perfectly valid reasoning behind her not succumbing to sorcery. Abeloth has mind hax supreme, being able to combat her without at least having issues with mental ability means she'd resist Zannahs sorcery.

Did Abeloth even attempt a mental attack on Jaina? Because last I checked a shitton of people fought Abeloth without at least having issues with mental ability.

Then what are you thinking of when you say he disarmed her? The only point where he does that is as I described. He gets injured, endures the immense pain enough to get through the tentacles and attack her directly and in her weakened state from controlling the tentacles she can't properly defend herself. She's disarmed, he goes for the killing blow and a tentacles wraps itself around his arm, saving her. Yeah, she needs to continue channeling the tentacles.

I'm just reading through the debate, it's going back and forth, and then I see this.

Neph already conceded Zannah is not as skilled, fast, strong, agile, or has as much endurance, stamina, vision, and sense then Jaina. His only argument is that Zannah's defense cannot be breached, which is bluntly not true.

No, I didn't. I simply didn't bother to contradict you saying that because it was clearly the argument you wanted to start. I've actually repeatedly said in this thread that Zannah is faster, stronger, more powerful and all around better than Jaina and backed that up as well. Whereas all you've done is say Jaina is better because you hate Zannah.

You didn't want to start the argument because it is clear whose knowledge is greater then the others. For Zannah to be stronger, a greater command of the Force is required, for their human strength are near equal as young adult female humans in prime physical fitness with Jaina having a slight edge. Jaina's command of the Force was said in two (possibly even more) occasions to rival Jacen's.

I haven't seen a single strength feat in Jaina's Respect thread.

Only a moron would actually argue Jaina's command of the Force rival's Jacen. Zannah's Force mastery eclipses Jaina's and you know it.

Of course, which is why Jaina has the same amount of potential power as Jacen yet was slower, weaker, less powerful and overall inferior. Just like she is to Zannah.

She has them, but that's not the point. Zannah was trained in Soresu specifically because Bane didn't believe she had the physical strength to effectively use a more aggressive style.

Bane's a sexist (or Drew is). She was a child at the time he made that call, she had plenty of time to build up some muscle. Plus the Force transcends crude matter, it's not as if Sidious was any beefier than Zannah. Regardless, its not as if Jaina is stronger than Bane or anything.

Totally agree, Makashi would have been good.

Jaina doesn't have the saber skills or the Force offense to beat Zannah before she uses her sorcery on her. Meanwhile Zannah's sorcery has a very good shot at beating Jaina outright.

I don't see Jaina winning this one.
