One word, MAGIC.

Yeah that part was dumb on the writers and directors part, plus the normal bomb stopping the magical portal, or why Enchanchess change back to her old dark from instead of keeping her powerful body? Or why the brother died from such a weak bomb?

If those things were explained, that both bombs were magical, or Enchanchess black form was more powerful, the movies would have been an even better solid entrance in the DCU.

They were both awful villains. DC has a ton of street level era or guys that are more on par with the Squads abilities, why they chose someone who could likely challenge the DC high tiers and have her lose via PIS is more proof that the writers for these films don't give a ****

I'd give Suicide Squad a 6-7/10. Margot Robbie and Will Smith were really great, everything else was just whatever. Apparently they cut a massive portion of Jared Leto's Joker scenes, but if I'm being honest I don't really care; Leto's Joker wasn't that great.

Leto's Joker Wasn't even needed for the story

i also liked El Diablo's character for the movie.

He was needed, but Only to tell Harely's story. That was his purpose in this.

Apart from that for the overall story...not much

unless those deleted scenes that they removed adds more, Maybe for a director cut.

👆

That was my take on Joker as well; they were portrayed as Batsh!t crazy for each other and the on screen chemistry between the two came across as convincing (IMO)...

I know some here didnt like Leto's Joker, but I thought he was good enough for his purpose in the movie....

Batman was excellently utilized in the movie btw...

You saw just enough of him to flesh out some of the characters stories, and he both looked and acted exactly as I'd expect The Dark Knight to act...

His scenes with two particular characters was 100% authentic Batman...

Watched this yesterday.

The ingredients were there for a good movie. The problem was they all got mashed into some type of horrible strew. The editing was terrible, the writing was terrible, and the directing seemed to create this weird hodgepodge of story lines being juggles around. Characters often times just seemed to be on screen to fill a number quota. Even when those characters were finally given something to do it felt forced. And on the character front it seemed like the people in charge kept flip flopping on how they wanted each character's story arc to progress.

I'd give this movie a 3-4/10 and I wanted this movie to be good. It did have some moments but the jokes felt forced in some instances.

Oh, shit.

How much you gave to BvS?

^ That's a proper critic score. Very harsh Newjak. Very harsh.

Better to be harsh than act as Golgo's lackey 😛

How much Golgo is paying you?

He's promised to buy me Civil War on Blu-Ray if SS breaks some kind of record this weekend. So I have to encourage you all to watch it again.

Worse Friday to Saturday drop than BvS:

Sounds like a good deal.

He disagrees with you. Let it go, crybaby. You don't ever defend my new Star Wars or Kelvin Trek films.

Didn't the Force Awakens have a bigger drop than that?

Doubt it. Force Awakens only had like a 30% drop on its 2nd weekend.

Will see its total today. But if it drops again, it means WB did really well marketing this movie, but still failed to please audiences to the degree they wanted.

It made 2 billion. It's the total numbers that ultimately matter.

Star Wars wipes their asses with DC and their pathetic cinematic universe.
