Funny, as it's the opposite for me.
That's cool. Not that you give a darn, but I didn't care for MoS due to the following reasons-
-flying dragons
-the reappearing Russell Crowe (stay dead already)
-bland characterization of Superman (I prefer the boy scout)
-the villain was weak (beat up by a scientist and a farmboy that never fought in his life and Zod was a military leader. What?)
-Pa Kents death (seriously)
-didn't care for Amy Adams as Lois
-Superman would not have snapped his neck
Just my opinion, but I realize people liked it.

He was one of my favorites too (for the American Ninja series as well as being Kung Fu Joe in I'm Gonna Git You Sucka), and I legitimately think American Ninja 2 was better than Suicide Squad. Hell, I'll even go so far as to say Running Scared with Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal was a better action movie than Suicide Squad.

American Ninja>>>>Most Dc/Marvel movies. ✅

It isn't bland just because you don't like it. Not being snippy. You might prefer the boy scout, but Superman has moved on from Chris Reeve. Even before DC's reboot, he was a more developed, richer character.
the villain lost because Superman wanted it more, and because he'd had more time to acclimate to Earth. Zod had skill, but Superman had the power advantage.
Superman would so have killed Zod. Maybe the neck-snapping wasn't the best way to go about it, but there is a precedent for Superman doing it in the comics.
MoS, though, in general has a lot of "I could see what they were going for here, the execution just needed to be better" moments. BvS and SS were lacking that, tbh.

Fair enough

Don't forget the beating he took from Kal's father who was a scientist. Skilled military leader my butt.
Glad you liked the movie.

I was not a fan of IM3 but it didnt suffer from the problems that BvS and SS had.
Plots were a mess, horrible editing, executives tampering, etc.
So as far as a whole movie and how its constructed, IM 3 was superior. Even though I didn't like it.
So I can understand the score.
SM3 was the worst of the trilogy by far, but it was still somewhat entertaining. Plus it was a different time for superhero movies. Dont know why you would go that far in time for an example tbh 😬So that rebuttal to my post wasn't effective at all.
Financial damage control spam wont change that fact either.
The Da Vinci Code - 758 million - This movie is a masterpiece based on financial success right guys?
Firstly, that wasn't a rebuttal. I simply pointed out how Critics CAN and DO praise shit movies at times.
I went on in my post to point out that those 2 shit movies made tons of money as well.
No idea what you're point is about Da Vinci Code.
As for claiming IM3 and SM3 are superior films to BvS and SS, my only conclusion to that is that you're very protective over critic scores to even pretend that IM3 and SM3 were worthy of decent/good scores.
As for SM3 being so old, what does that matter? It's not even 10 years old, and shows critical bias to franchises they've previously got attached to. Same with IM3 which isn't old.

Then maybe he just wasn't a great fighter. Or it was bad writing. Or Lara (Jor-El's wife), like in the comics, was a badass military officer and she thought her husband a few things.
You can look at it more than one way, just as you can look at how Clark won more than one way.

Any villian put infront of Supes would have fallen before his might during MoS...
Pretty much. MOS has various flaws but of the three DCEU films released to date it's got the most cohesive story, visuals, and tone. That's likely because WB wasn't at that point attempting to use the film as a vehicle to establish future films or a large group of supporting characters in a rushed manner so MOS's story could stand on it's own and any open threads specific to Superman's mythos (for example, the scout ship which had one open pod alluding to a possible living Kryptonian on Earth before Kal. Likely Kara). MOS made you want MOS2 without beating you over the head with a sales pitch for other properties and making the story suffer because of it. BvS was overpacked and poorly cut, and SS was too thinly structured. MOS is still bad porridge, but of the three bowls we've been presented to choose from it's the bowl we deserve, but not the bowl we need right now. I hope the Wonder Woman and/or Batman films are good. Batman seems to be the only property WB does right on a pretty consistent basis over the last 30 years (as well as the Vertigo properties) so I have some hope. I'm skeptical of Wonder Woman and Justice League.

I'm skeptical about WW (please be good) and have little to zero confidence in Justice League. I didnt care for the teaser at all, and lets face it, Snyder is at the helm so you know its going to have issues. DC comics have been awesome lately though, so I might be better served just reading those.
Regarding previous posts, I like IM3 better than all 3 of the DCEU movies, but SM3 was utter garbage,
