Score!

Warner Bros. is the first studio to have two superhero movies make over $300 Million domestically in the same year. Some flops!

That's quite interesting.

And impressive.

I think he believes otherwise.

Are you sure?

Are you sure?
Maybe indirectly from the WB executives paying him to suck them off.

Yes, we are sure.

Most definitely. Should be hearing about a sequel soon. 320 domestic, 410 WW.

It doesn't have the best WOM, but it did have a better multiplier than CW. You may have not liked it, but you shouldn't want a film to fail, seeing as a lot of people did like it. I'm glad SS did tremendously well, because we'll be getting a sequel. SS was better than either Cap or the first Thor movies. Those were below average, IMO.
I want a bad to mediocre film to fail so that the execs realize we want better.

And SS was not better than Cap or Thor because at least those had a coherent plot that wasn't the victim of bad editing like SS was. I mean they were generally straight forward plots that had weaker segments but from a film making quality they were never bad.

Also besides Deadshot, Harley, and Diablo most of the squad was so badly used. Killer Croc was barely there as a character. Along with Katana. Enchantress was a weak villain. Captain Boomerang alternated world views scene to scene about loyalty at times. Plus the Leto Joker subplot just seemed forced in even for the 12 minutes of screen time it took.

Now if you think I completely hate this film. I don't there was good parts to it. But the best word I can use as to the overall quality of this film...sloppy

You know what would be more impressive, if DC made 2 good superhero movies in the same year.

I liked all of the characters and pretty much all of the people I talk to(in person)about the movie says the same.

Maybe its just me, but I almost find this hard to believe. Out of the 20 or so people I have talked to (mostly being my son and his 19 to 20 year old friends) only 1 said they loved it. Most of them said it was ok to decent and a few loathed it due to the flawed Joker and Will Smith. Just my experience though.

lol

I think the more hardcore the comic fan, the more likely they are to have issues with Suicide Squad.

The "casuals" are more likely to really enjoy it, but these are the same people who wouldn't know the different between a good adaptation and a bad one.

I think a lot of people fall right in the middle of those two groups, tbh.

Those 20 people are a drop in the bucket, dude.

I just find it funny how the people I talk to pretty much called the movie for what it was, but yet almost everybody you talked to loved it. Coincidence?

Funny? Nah, that's just how it is. Some people loved it, some people hated it. However, I think the GA liked it. Like PR mentioned, most people don't read the comics, so they're not as picky on the characters as the die hard fans are.

Or even the ones that do read comics that have hardly read any of the Suicide Squad comics.
